chrome has no mouse-gestures - so firefox and opera win.

never said i wasnt a fanboy
@ OP Nice using a graph of Firefox without TraceMonkey. Besides, I'm pretty sure my Firefox 3.6-1 compiled with PGO is almost as fast as Chrome
I like Chrome, but I cannot leave my beloved AdBlock Plus behind.
I like Chrome, but I cannot leave my beloved AdBlock Plus behind.
Adsweep, Privoxy? Choose.
I'm madly in love with firefox, I've been with it ever since I was a young lad...
I switched to Chrome for about three months and I loved it because it loaded almost everything faster and looked better to me, but I've now gone back to Firefox due to adblock and aPNGs.
In fact I think I'll try going back to Chrome again for a while now to see which I prefer at the moment. I switch kinda often.
Adsweep, Privoxy? Choose.
I didn't know about Adsweep, ill try that out.
I worship google chrome.
Google chrome is soooo light, even in my old ass 5 year old computer I had to borrow used only 45% with 6 tabs open + video. And it loads up SO fast.
Firefox is decent, but it took 95% with only 2 tabs.
Not hating on Firefox, but google chrome is enough for me. It's everything I want in a browser. Quick to use, light, simple, and awesome.
oh i bet bananasgomoo is rating himself/everyone dumb so he can say those shit. lol fanboy
no. i would do that to all the google chrome users. but im not that much of an FF fanboy
I use both.
Some websites for firefox, some for google chrome.
I have firefox, chrome, IE and k-meleon and i only use the two most ovious i should. i like the comparisson you made, great job.
I've been running Chromium daily builds for a while now, so fast it's not even funny. All applications should aspire to be this responsive. I've never run into problems with webpages not working, but occasionally I use firefox for the web dev toolbar. Apart from that chrome all the way.
I tried Chrome and Opera and Safari. They are neat toys, but I can not find any easy way of obtaining addons to turn the browser into a power-house shell of productivity.
I'm using chrome now over firefox, but most of the time I get pages that say oops link is broken.
Maybe a little weird to bring this one up:

That is the shite man. Not saying it is wrong or anything, I am just saying this is shite. It doesn't have values!!
Those numbers could be
How many objects per 1/10000000000 second and that would be 0 difference between the browser!
or
How many objects per 1 second and that would be a hell of a lot difference between the browser!
That diagram is the shite
I'd switch to Chrome in a second if it had addons.
So when it does have addons I'm in.
I require benchmarks.
Even tho I know that Chrome is faster on newer platforms.
I'm loving the look of that Minefield bench.

Back to school.
If proper testing was used (it was) the relative difference would be the same.
Ever since I started using chrome I never looked back.
Yeah this
How come IE is 3rd when it has the same "overall" rating as Chrome and FF? At any rate it should be first :smug:
I love chrome. I think I already posted in this thread but I'll say it forever.
Incoming clocks!

The ONE thing I really miss is aPNGs.
I'm using SRWare Iron, a derivative of Chromium, which is essentially the same as Google Chrome but with some different features.
I prefer it over Firefox simply because I never grew attached to any Firefox addons, and the speed boost is nice.
Same here! Highfive!
I like Chrome, love its easy interface and great speed....Wins for me
Firefox has been pissing me off. It takes on average twice as long to open after boot-up and still twice as long after I've already opened it once. What the fuck Firefox. Does this happen to anyway else? That's a blank page and no tabs.
Hmm. I seem to be using 3.0.1.
I used to use Firefox, then I got google chrome and it's 100000000x faster. And there's more screenspace (No stupid toolbars).
Google Chrome ftw
Chrome is nice, but in def. needs modding capability and all the nice stuff that FF has. I fell in love with the large screenspace though.

The dev channel has basic addon support now.
But yeah, the official one definitely needs it once it's stable enough.
Chrome is great, but I start missing my addons after a while of using it. And with a few addons you can get pretty good screenspace on FF too.

Using CompactMenu and not using any toolbars leaves much room for the web page. :eng101:
