Ok ok, I think(?) I have an acceptable gpu selected, but I need a second opinion, Kiwi recommended to me this power supply, will that work with the gpu listed?

So I have a 1 Gig Radeon HD 6770 that's powered off a 6pin connector from my 460w power supply. I want to step up to something a bit more powerful, I'm currently looking at this : Link for £130 or I could get that Card and a 600w PSU (CORSAIR CX600 Fixed ATX PSU - 600 W) for £180 Any idea what I should do?
IMO GPU overclocking is far more beneficial than CPU overclocking. With my 680 I got a 22% increase from stock clocks to max clocks under water, doesn't ever even break 60 degrees. Granted that was in Heaven Benchmark, but that's a lot more relateable to games than just about any other benchmark because it's literally just running a benchmark test in a game engine.
The thing is I really don't play many GPU taxing games. Most taxing games I play are KSP and World of Warships. My GPU is never really under 100% load, and now that I am only driving one screen instead of three it should be working even less hard now. Basically, my system works fine the way it is, I just wanted to see if there was a really good reason to spend the $200 to expand the loop to cool the GPU.

Oh, also, for you IKEA fans out there... http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50192365/ Those things work fucking great on the inside of my case. I have a Corsair Obsidian 800D, put two up top, one behind the reservoir, and one in the basement. Cut the AC/DC converter out and wired it right into a 12v molex connector. Ran the RGB controller out the back of the PC and it secured it to the fan grate. I'll take pics when I get home tonight. Compared to dedicated PC lighting setups, this is pretty affordable and was piss easy to setup. Plus you're not limited to a single color!
[T]http://i.imgur.com/b9jm8eb.jpg[/t] How the hell.am I supposed to move this screw. The instructions are so uninformative
It's a little more elbow grease than it makes it out to be, just push the screw down and pull it across till you get it in the right spot.
Thanks. I didn't want to push too hard but I guess i have to haha. I feel like this cooler is the worst part
Having to nab different sata cables, since the fractal case I got has some really unfortunate hard drive bay placement for my motherboard. The upper bays had to be removed as they completely blocked key components of my motherboard, and the lower ones are way too close to the bottom to use typical right angle sata, and way too close to the case wall to use a straight sata cable without putting a hugely unnecessary amount of stress of them. If the local computer store (I'm in a small town) doesn't have a left angle sata (still think that naming is a bit odd) it'll be another online order and shipping for just 2 cables :v:

So finished building my computer, but im having problems in BIOS. Bios will load up fine when there isn't anything taking up a USB slot. However, when I boot the computer up with my keyboard plugged in, bios will appear frozen and won't show fan information, CPU temp, etc. Anyone know whats up? Asus Z97-A USb3.1
Bought the next piece of the puzzle today! http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130801 Looking forward to it. I should have the rest of my computer built by mid next week.
Figured it out. Priority slots. Woop [editline]9th May 2015[/editline] First post from my new computer. Works like a charm :)
Weird question, is there a streaming build that doesn't break the bank? I'm looking to stream Xbox One games through an external capture card, but I want a system that is portable enough to take to events. I'm worried about framerate more than resolution.
Budget? Also can you give me a link to the external capture card you want to use? I may be able to find a guide for ya on how to use it with OBS which is a free streaming/recording software if you haven't heard of it :)
Elgato HD60. I'm familiar with actually streaming, I just wanted to put together a build to take on the go. I figure without a graphics card it could be potentially ~$500 or less?
If you don't plan on streaming any other PC gaming on it it will BARELY DO and even playing games on it will choke. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/qrVf4D if you need a graphics card then get this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/powercolor-video-card-axr92702gbd5tdheoc but if you want to take this to events and game on it then yeah good luck using integrated graphics, that 270 is good with out being a deal breaker
I only plan on streaming console games. This build looks perfect, thanks!
Updated builds in OP
Any reccomendations for thermal paste?
I'm not using the stock cooler. Would the one I'm buying come with some or would I still need to get a tube?
Isn't the 212 outclassed by the TX3?(I'm pointing towards the $750 build)
Not at all, the TX3 isn't nearly as good, but it's cheap.
Ahh I point this out cause it is pretty much the same cooler but much cheaper.
It's actually fairly different. The TX3 has less heatpipes and FAR less fin area. Like jesus the weight difference between the two is insane when I installed that TX3 on my APU.
Is there a problem with my graphics card at all. My computer is hardly making noise and it doesn't seem to be getting hot. Is it because I got the ACX version ? [editline]9th May 2015[/editline] I mean I don't have a problem with this but its just odd. Gtx980.

The Maxwell cards are really efficient.
Why would it not getting hot or making noise be any sign of a problem? The Maxwell cards are really efficient.
Not familiar with these cards. It's just caught me off guard
Did a quick mod to my case. I replaced the PSU facia with a custom one. PM me if you're interested.
I'm still caught off guard how my computer completely works! This is the first time I've built it and everyone worked as it should.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/GPy6Ebe.jpg[/t] There's a picture of my build there. So happy with it. Can't wait to expand into it too! [editline]10th May 2015[/editline] Haven't gotten that side fan on the case hooked up yet though. It's just really awkward to get it to the cpu fan slot on the mobo. Any suggestions?
