Define R4
Does it matter which one? Or are they all the same specs but with different colors and a option for a window?
Does it matter which one? Or are they all the same specs but with different colors and a option for a window?
Yep.
I do plan on upgrading my gpu once Pascal comes out or sometime before.
Yeah honestly the P100 and the R4 are both great cases. Just personal preference really. [editline]19th October 2015[/editline] For a second though I thought Antec was Thermaltake and I was gunna say fuck no don't support them.

Maybe a bit overkill on the PSU. But its a good one at least. Just a note: Make sure you actually need this. Because if this is just for gaming, you can save a massive ammount of money by going with an i5, on a good air cooler, with a normal MOBO. While barely noticing any performance loss. You only really need the cooling and that motherboard if you want to do a massive overclock. And i7's are mostly usefull for rendering/compiling etc, they wont do much for gaming.

The RAM / Mobo / PSU / CPU could be cheaper without any performance downgrade, but you do get that extra little bit of quality paying more.

I'm not really sure if this is the place to ask, but one of my dad's friends is looking to buy a prebuilt gaming pc + monitor and wants some recommendations, but since everyone I've ever spoken to says to build your own I don't really know any recommendations besides "don't buy Alienware". The reason he wants a prebuilt is because he doesn't know much about computers and wants to be able to go to the company for tech support if something goes wrong. I can tell what hardware is good and what is overpriced, but what companies are the best for cost vs performance and their tech support?

Hey guys, I'm planning on upgrading my current PC and would appreciate some advice on what parts to get and what I should focus on replacing. This is my current build: CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 620 2.6GHz Quad-Core Processor Motherboard: Asus M4N68T Memory: Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB (4 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive + Western Digital WD Green 2TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: AMD Radeon HD 7970 Case: Antec DF-85 ATX Full Tower Case Power Supply: Cooler Master GX 650W 80+ Certified ATX Power Supply My first priority would be getting a new motherboard, and then a new CPU. I also want to upgrade my RAM to 16GB. My 2TB HDD and 250GB SSD are fine for storage right now, might consider getting a HDD with a higher RPM. My graphics card and power supply should also be fine. Also thinking about getting a new case, however that's not really a priority right now. So essentially, I need a new motherboard, CPU and I possibly need to replace my current RAM or just up it to 16GB.
What's your main use for your PC
What's your main use for your PC
Well, apart from just browsing the web and watching movies/videos I also use it for gaming. I also do some video editing using adobe premiere, I use photoshop quite often and I also use it for music production (fl studio 11). I'd like a middle of the road kind of computer, looking to spend about $400-$800 on upgrading my parts (however my budget is flexible).

I've been considering investing in liquid cooling, however it's pretty pricey and upgrading my CPU, RAM and motherboard is already going to be pretty expensive. Are there any liquid cooling kits you'd recommend?
