T420 with core i5/8gb memory and 128gb ssd installed for ~$200 yes or no? Need a notebook to hold me over for a few months of freshman year before the new macbook pros drop.
Got it, thanks fellas
Reminds me of a guy who said the 700 series was better than the 900 because it used more power and ran hotter. :what:
In that case, my Powermac G5 must be super powerful
this latest Windows update is actually pretty cool. so many small, minor changes that makes the OS feel so much better. decided to enable Cortana again as well, though she seems a little useless to be honest. I'm not integrated into the Microsoft ecosystem at all and it doesn't look like I can sync my Google stuff with her. calender, reminders, fitness, etc, it's all at Google. [editline]3rd August 2016[/editline] this is so weird to see on a Windows machine, feels like a rift between two dimensions has opened

My one account is overloaded with shit so I get constant notifications. I'll sort that out eventually.
What's so bad about apt-get, I'm actually curious since it seems to get so much shit yet never a reason why, it's always just werked for me :v:
It's the Linux community. It's cool to hate on anything ubuntu it seems
So according to windows im up to date but I turned off autodownload and update (i have pro) so I turn on windows update to check and yeah
Nice
If there is one thing I'm glad with anniversary edition, its that licensing appears to no longer be a pain in the arse when reinstalling and as someone looking to rebuild in the near future its welcome news.

They're so much faster, and pacman packaging is actually sane, you can actually understand what the hell is going on.

If you can get your events to display on the stock calendar app, you've done it correctly. The update moved everything around on me so I'm not confident in this anymore, but I think you can add your Google account at the "Accounts" screen in Settings.
Could be worse. [t]https://helifreak.duckdns.org/image/2016022317025139.png[/t]
How?
How?
If you're going to pick the locale based on my keyboard settings, rather than what I've manually specified and forced in Windows, could you at least make sure you fucking support it?

It was the first thing I changed. I never run anything in german language on my PC. It just feels weird for me if it isn't in english.

You might need to update your shit within Ubuntu too. I had to add my hostname to /etc/hosts to get sudo to stop complaining about lookup failures

That's why.

I just use Debian/Ubuntu for small VM's that I want to run software thats tested on it. Like Ubiquiti does all their Unifi controller development and testing on Debian so all my controllers go on a Debian box. [editline]3rd August 2016[/editline] There's nothing inherently terrible about Ubuntu (anymore, since Canonical got less insane) but the cons outweigh the pros for everything I do over CentOS.
This might sound crazy, but it seems Win10 made my laptop temperatures go 5~10°C higher than with Win8
I wonder if it's possible to make the LED lighting on my Corsair keyboard flash in sync with a MIDI signal
Do you know where I can grab the infected file for Classic Shell/Audacity for playing around/demonstration purposes?

But it works really well compared to how old the codebase for it is.
I did it again, I somehow used bootcamp to fuck up my partitions beyond maybe repair even. Bootcamp still doesn't work, and now OSX doesn't work either. I don't know how I do it. Maybe I'm too retarded to use OSX, or their system sucks [editline]3rd August 2016[/editline] Both Linux and Windows partitions just work for me. OSX manages to find any bullshit reasons to act up.
So I decided to route how I would get to the Pokestops I can see in Pokemon Go [t]http://i.imgur.com/Pn42i2V.jpg[/t] :speechless: [sp]also that arterial road is a 60mph highway which I'm not too keen on walking down/crossing without lights[/sp]
How?
I opened a single MEGA tab.
You know what, I'm just throwing this entire OSX installation in the bin and installing Windows 10 on the Mac. I had some important files and some php projects that are now gone, but they're lost anyways might aswell start anew before I realize how much stuff I've actually lost.

My power supply is 7 years old at this point. Before I think about getting a 1070, do you think it's advisable to replace it with something new?
