Can't forget about 256 GB micro SD cards storing a small library at only a few pages thick.
My charger died, nowhere in my town sells USB C chargers, now I have to wait like 4 days for one to be delivered and have no way to charge my phone. The heavy price at being at the cutting edge.

Let me guess, it has a card reader?
What happens if you select it?
It refuses to boot because you're out of magenta ink even when it tells you in the docs that it will operate in greyscale mode.
You don't have a USB-A to USB-C cable?
If I do I can't find it, I might've thrown it out.
Let me guess, it has a card reader?
Yeah, but that doesn't even show up on my PC.
Will try booting from it in a bit and see what happens.

Oh right, a few days ago our IPTV stopped working, TV said that no ethernet cable attached.
Restarted router, same shit, restarted TV, same shit, switched cables, same shit, switched ports on the router, same shit.
Okay. Let's go back to the beginning, as it had to work before in the same configuration. Same port on router, old cable etc.
restart tv, restart router -> shit works.
Dad came and asked what did I do, I truthfully said I don't know, but it works now.

Leaning tower of XP
or something other creative. In other news, I either have a lot of 12v bench power supplies, a lot of strong magnets, a few cool lasers and a lot of sheetmetal.
Or do you guys have any better ideas what to do with these?

I say the ability to walk is an important tool in IT.
Because half the time when a user complains about something not working, you walk to their station and it just works with no input from you.

Someone has to install windows on an SD card so they can boot off their printer. For science.

Give to me your 950, your garbage motherboard doesn't have a real m.2 ESATA3 slot

Amazon video has actually been getting better. They've got a reasonable web player and some solidish selection. Mobile app is still trash though.
Google Music is probably my favourite service. And it coming with YTR is great.
Streaming is too mainstream (heheh), I'm still walking around with a harddrive-based iPod.

Nope, single drive.
Have you installed Samsung's NVME driver? http://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/ssd/downloads/software/Samsung_NVMExpress_Driver_rev11.zip

I'll give er a try. I double checked to make sure that my MB supports NVMe before buying it, and I got my bios fully updated.
Unless there is a speed difference between the 256GB drive vs the 512GB drive. It is definitely faster than my 850EVO ever was.

So do you have 10 SSDs RAID 0'd or are you still using DDR1 RAM? Because my 1333 MHz DDR3 still manages 5-7 GiB/s.

I'm the git who still walks into a shop to buy my Blu-rays and DVDs and at this rate you'll have to prize the formats out of my cold, dead hands. I'm surprisingly stubborn when it comes to moving forward.

I buy media, just so I can lossless rip them and dump them on my fileserver.

My next PC should hopefully have a 4TB drive to eat up all my blu-ray rips, 3TB has been just too small with the rest of my files.
