proof that you bought it
this is about as much as you're gonna get:
but where's the horsehair brush
oh shit i forgot
So basically you just spent ~$1000+ on a horsehair brush. [editline]24th August 2016[/editline] It had better be unicorn hair at least.
Ever sit and wait for your student loans to come in then realize you never applied for financial aid? Yeah, this is gonna be a rough tuition payment this semester.
Pro tip: apply for all of the rewards and bursaries you think you quality for. Even if you don't, there is an odd chance that you will get it. Especially the entry bursaries before you even start the program. I missed out on a $2000 entry bursary and I would have used it to buy a laptop before the Canadian dollar went to shit later that year. Now every computer part and everything else I want to get is now really expensive. Ugh.
You are kidding... please tell me you are though :speechless:
Nah, I can use this to expand my zpool from one vdev to a second one (have a preexisting raidz2 vdev of another 10 4TB drives) probably will use the remaining 4 slots in my case for a mirror vdev for iops focus that my vm's will use [editline]24th August 2016[/editline] that'll push me to just barely about 100tb raw
According to current price on Amazon it comes to a $1637.11 hairbrush.
its not a hairbrush technically (maybe in the literal sense it is), its a brush that you use to polish leather shoes and boots :science101:
You are kidding... please tell me you are though :speechless:
I was a lazy high school graduate who didn't bother to at least look, even though my guidance counselors told me that I can get free money. Either I knew about it and procrastinated until school actually started, or I decided to actually look for it and then I found it after the submission due date. I learned my lesson and applied to a bunch of rewards and bursaries. I actually got some which was surprising so it makes paying off my student loans a bit easier (aka going on vacation because I'm a terrible college graduate who wants to take a break from school and just relax for a bit). Also for the student loans (here it is called OSAP, funded by the Canadian/Ontario government), you can get a 6-month extension on the due date of when you are supposed to start paying it back if you submit your income for the previous month before your application. So if you don't make much for that one month, you can get it delayed and you can keep on reapplying. The interest/amount you have to pay back doesn't change, it just gets delayed. There's other ways to change the amount you pay back but you have to do other stuff, or have a really good reason. So if you're not making much, you can get it delayed. Or apply before you start a job and get 6-months without paying student loans. Quit job, summit income for that one month where it's less your normal wage, and repeat. Eventually they will see what you're doing and laugh at your face but in general, they seem pretty lax about repayment as long as it's done eventually. edit: I think you were responding to the stupid amounts of WD Red purchase bbbuuutttt..
According to current price on Amazon it comes to a $1637.11 hairbrush.
Oh, to be young and rich... I'm just young.
either way it saved me asking one more question. what are rewards and bursaries?
Canadian things, like maple syrup and darts. All we get for going to college is debt and regret.
Oh, to be young and rich... I'm just young.
A good job in the energy sector fixes that pretty easily Granted I get up at 5am and I'm not home before 6:30pm so its not all peaches and cream
A good job in the energy sector fixes that pretty easily
I've got a decent job in the trucking business working in the maintenance department for a large company. At least I'm not turning wrenches on the trucks. [editline]24th August 2016[/editline] Yeah I work from 3:30pm-5am so I feel your pain.

Can be fucking expensive to expand without moving all the data over.
Found out today FPL, Florida Power and Light, our Utility here in Florida has their own fiber network. But they only serve businesses. Keep frothing for that upload.
Starting an LLC is stupid cheap. Considering the stuff you've said about your work in the past, you EASILY meet any qualifications to sign up as a business. The question is, can you even get service at your location, and if so, is it cheaper. Side note, I did CAD work for an FPL plant. Turkey Point specifically. Some of the drawings were so completely and utterly fucked and outside of spec it was nuts. Stuff like isometric piping diagrams having 400+ degrees in a circle. This is safety critical stuff in the NRC world, and the EC changes for the plant had tons of documents that were missing/incomplete/not what was installed. Bechtel labs turns out soooo much garbage it's insane. That and the company managing turkey point essentially uploaded drawings over dial up, so we ended up sitting around for several days doing nothing because we literally ran out of work to do.
either way it saved me asking one more question. what are rewards and bursaries?
I should have said awards, and apparently bursary is British for scholarship for college/university.

They're stupid easy to get going and you can make them for pretty much any reason.
Just an FYI to you guys, drive safe. When you get to intersections or stop signs, check both ways before you go. And if you're driving and you get to a red light or stop sign, you fucking stop. Period. Currently sitting at home covered in ice packs, bruises and scrapes. My coworker who was driving and myself are super lucky to be alive because some dumb bitch ran a red light [t]http://i.imgur.com/p3p9JD4.jpg[/t] [editline]23rd August 2016[/editline] If she had done it quarter of a second later, we'd probably both be in the hospital right now
It's worth mentioning that you should not sign anything settlement related until after you've had a week, and had a thorough medical checkup. Whiplash and soft tissue damage can take days to develop. Last thing you want is to sign a settlement, then get sudden back pain 2 days later. Also worth noting that this is precisely why you have dash cams. Imagine if you get accused of being the red light runner. Assume that EVERYONE will lie about what happened in a collision. Their insurance certainly isn't going to do you any favors, so have evidence in hand to bend them over the kitchen table for a good old fashioned hard fuck. Worst case, you don't have to even mention that you have a camera. It's not illegal to fail to report information that might incriminate you. Not relevant in this situation, but for 100% other driver's fault collisions where your car isn't totaled, you can also demand coverage for the reduced value from the car for being in an accident, not just the price to repair. Yet another reason to delay settlements. They will nearly always lowball you, and I've never heard of an initial settlement offer including diminished value.
It's 12:02 am and I'm by myself in an office. I just found a supply of window breaking hammers and seatbelt cutters in our supply closet. Mildly confused why those are in with office supplies.

In many states it's free, and you don't have to do anything with it.
If only there was any kind of internet available for my house... I literally can't find anything other than satellite. IP's hate dirt roads/Arkansas apparently.

My mom just started up a new one since she moved from Louisiana to Mississippi since the tax rate is less. [editline]25th August 2016[/editline] I am on chat right now with someone from CenturyLink to see what kind of pricing/plans they have for my area. I swear to god they better have something with no datacap, I'm tired of using 40GB per month on AT&T... [editline]25th August 2016[/editline] "I do apologize, but it does appear that CenturyLink does not service your area." :v:
You can't even get DSL? Man.
CenturyLink and SuddenLink are both available like, 2-3 miles from my house, but not at my actual house. I can't get a straight answer off of SuddenLink's website as to whether there is service there or not. It says to call in for current offers at my location.

As long as you just make sure you're not messing with your phone or fiddling with your radio you'll be fine.
You can't even get DSL? Man.
For some people around here we're their only option as a WISP. No DSL, some don't even have the option of home phone so they need us for VOIP
I miss the city... My work computer and my phone/tablet are my only means of internet access, and cell service in Ouachita Mountain's is spottier than our cows. [editline]25th August 2016[/editline] Aaaaand my work only has 45/45 I just found out. No wonder everything is so slow, since all of our programs need to be accessed remotely and we average about 210,000 emails per day in the company.

I'm still in that stage where I barely take my eyes off the road (other than when changing lanes or at an intersection, whatever) and hold onto the wheel for dear life while driving. :v: My roommate says people here are pretty predictable, but it doesn't stop me from getting nervous when there's some big truck riding my ass on the freeway...
