The roads in and around Atlanta were terrible.
Then again Atlanta is terrible in general.
Cool airport though.
I rather go through LAX or SEATAC tbh.
Ontario Integnatonal Airport in California is great though 👌🏻

I hate LAX. I hate LAX with the fiery passion of a thousand suns. ATL is nice to navigate around. It's big but you can actually get to where you need to be without much trouble. Right now I'm sitting in SJC airport and am probably never flying through SJC again. Ideally I'd never fly through LAX again but it's pretty much the main way to get into the country from Aus.
Just drive instead.
I drive to Japan all the time.

Lucky. I can't afford a BTR.

Very rare I've made it through Atlanta on time. Always delayed. Once was stuck in the airport for 24 hours.

I like the part where it's always cheaper for me to connect from SEA through LAX and then anywhere in the world than it is to just non-stop from SEA

That's because you pay with your sanity.

Heh, funny. I've never had a problem with the place. Suppose that's the way it goes with the busiest airport on the planet.

There's sometimes connections through SFO but it's usually far more expensive and if it's anything like SJC then I want nothing to do with it.

Yeah, I try to avoid Atlanta when I can and go through Texas. I always seem to end up going through Atlanta at least twice a year anyways though and it usually ends terribly.

IAH is a pretty alright airport but I've only been there once. Was a bit weird to navigate but found my way pretty easily and had no real trouble aside from that.

I go through it at least 4 times a year so it's kinda second nature to me.

They've got a solid as fuck bar/restaurant there too that I've spent considerable time at.

Oh yeah? Do tell. It's always good to know these things. Most airports I fly through regularly I've got a list of good food places.
Skewers at Terminal 5 LAX (Delta Domestic), Chick-fil-a at ATL (I mean... come on. I can never turn down CFA, shit's like crack), etc
Wanna say it was an oyster bar. I can picture the place in my head I just don't remember the name. Their dirty rice balls are fantastic though.

I miss Chick-fil-a, but I don't miss it enough to drive to Bellevue.

I still reside in Australia. No CFA or Five guys. They are my jam when I'm in the states.
In-N-Out or bust.
In-N-Out or bust.
In-N-Out is awesome, but I'm never in CA enough to enjoy it, they need to get a thing at LAX. Then I'd appreciate it far more.
In-N-Out or bust.
I had In-N-Out in Salt Lake City this last weekend and it was so good.

They have In-N-Out in SLC?! Dammit I was there not too long ago
Meanwhile I'm sitting here trying to remember the last time I left the state

I'm not a big fan of CFA but it sucks that the nearest 5 guys to me is over an hour away. And no Chipotle's in my whole state. (Sue me, I like Chipotle as a quick filling meal that I know will be good for the price)

Heh, I have reason to travel a lot. It's a damned expensive hobby, though. And Fuck the TSA. They need to be rocketed into the sun.
Five Guys (at least up in Canada) is a delicacy. If you want to be guaranteed a fresh, delicious burger; they're one of the only places that does it. There are a couple of other burger joints around me that are known, but they've all gotten gross over the years. It's expensive as hell, so it's not a fast food you can grab a couple times a week.

I once qualified for the Olympic track team by running from a gate on one side of ATL to the other.
It also required mastery level skill in landnav.

I would kill for Five Guys in Australia because there's just nothing that comes close. The closest I can honestly compare to is McDonalds. And McDonalds is crap.

Dude. Use the plane train. It's there for that reason.

Chipotle's fine but Qdoba's better, if they have those wherever you are.
Fat Burger is pretty rad even though it's a bit overpriced.

You haven't lived until you've overheard your mother saying "I didn't expect to like Dick's so much, but they're really good!"
:speechless:

Colorado Springs is great for Mexican. So many good places. Sonterra, Hacienda (Awesome value for money), and a ton of good street food trucks.
