I think he means that for so few devices it's exactly the same as a $15 monoprice switch except probably uses 10x the electricity
So with Storage Spaces, do you completely forgo SMART data? I'm trying to also look into how I'd know when a drive went bad or had sector problems.
I did test 8 vhdx files on 8 different drives and then mounted them in windows and ran storage spaces on them. Wish it computed pool storage in terms of usable space. Putting a 100GB file in the pool uses up 200GB. Instead of me having half the space available.

Oddly though I have ReFS as an option on all storage types. Parity, double parity, threeway mirror, even simple. Interesting. Maybe the anniversary update added it.
Edit: Looks like SS allows for Smart, but until I test it with ACTUAL drives, it will show nothing.

Has there been any good distributions of Linux with touch compatibility?
I've been wanting to look at the Samsung Galaxy TabPro S as a good x86 Linux machine. Or should I look to a more established device like the Surface Pro or other recommendations?
