Teamspeak.
Discord sound quality isn't very good though compared to what Skype will allow though.
I don't give a fuck and a fifth about sound quality, it doesn't rape my system resources and isn't obnoxious about updates (which are so easy and quick to install it makes my head spin in a good way) and actually has a dark theme. Playing GIFs in the chat without having to open the link is also great, I don't get why anyone would hate it. I mean yeah, Discord has some glaring flaws (many of which they have on the board to fix), but it's infinitely better than Skype to me, and has more features than Teamspeak that I enjoy. It's like it consists of the few things that are good about Skype and the many things that are good about Teamspeak into one neat little package. And the best part is, it doesn't have ads I have to break half of Skype to block, only for the risk of it not working anymore every update. Edit: On top of that, my group can't use Teamspeak because for some reason one of our members cannot connect to any Teamspeak servers whatsoever on any computer he owns within his house's network and despite replacing the router & modem it still doesn't work.
guys we should just all use facebook group chats
Facebook chats are horribly insecure, and can be easily intercepted by most large intelligence organizations. The clear option that appeals to everyone's best interests is to communicate by renting billboards infront of public traffic cameras. They sell animated ones if you want to video chat.
What's the deal with hackintoshing? Does Skylake/DDR4 work yet? Do I just disconnect my Windows SSD when installing and put it back in after?
What's the deal with hackintoshing? Does Skylake/DDR4 work yet?
You can exceed the maximum capacity of anything. No matter what it's an arbitrary cap. Using your reasoning, why not just buy a dedicated 4TB drive and use it as nothing but swap 'just in case'? If you have enough RAM that you don't use swap space, it's not worth having it at all.
You're getting silly.

Did a quick restore test on Arq5, downloading at 74Mbps, pretty solid. I am curious why it's not backing up anymore though.
Nice, they're actually great little monitors. Looks just a bit off in portrait, but I think it's a TN panel so not exactly uncommon. Still usable though! Comes with all of the cables except DisplayPort, of course.
I didn't even know it had DisplayPort. Neato. Luckily I have a spare cable I can use for that. But wow the monitor is a lot smaller than I expected but it'll work fine for a secondary PC in the bedroom.

I'd hit 12gb of RAM used by browsers alone. Didn't leave much for my OS itself and other work shit. [editline]14th June 2016[/editline] Then I'd leave it on overnight and vivaldi would mem leak and 4 tabs would take up 6gb

Highest I've ever spiked on a browser is just under 20GB now. https://nik.bot.nu/
Is chrome actually leaky or does it just cache a ton

The Z3C I have had been previously repaired and it had pre-existing pressure marks that just got worse under my ownership) and the LCD itself has really awful colours.
Is chrome actually leaky or does it just cache a ton
As far as I know it's not super leaky in and of itself. Many webpages, however, are very poorly designed. It does suck up a lot of fixed memory with every tab, so if you are someone like me, it's guaranteed to be consuming stupid amounts of memory, even if all I have open is a wikipedia tree of tabs.
This is apparently a website built for a Taiwanese car repair shop for NT$2000 (~US$60), the web designing company sent this in as a joke because of the lowball commission and apparently the repair shop accepted it. Now it's viral in Taiwan :v: http://www.carce.cc/goodcar#img1
The guy is literally drinking on the job. Have to admit, it is kinda cute though. [editline]15th June 2016[/editline] Like, I couldn't draw something that good.
Guys, anybody has good advice for how to buy 18650 cells on ebay? I got my mom's old laptop but a few cells seem to be bad, I'd change them but 18650 is so common now that you can't ever know if you get a proper one or not.
Anybody here who's got some experience with circuits? I was using my mom's old vacuum cleaner which we use to clean the rooms upstairs, when I heard a loud bang coming from it and a lot of smoke erupted from the exhaust. I just cracked it open to see what blew and found this: [T]https://f.lewd.se/uMu41M_DSC_0128.PNG[/T] Does anyone know by any chance what it is? For one thing I don't believe it's a critical part considering that the motor still runs fine, and I was using it for a few minutes for shits and giggles.

It will be super easy to replace, but someone who knows what they are doing should chime in.
Get a new vaccum, that one old as fart device. Also it's obviously a filter cap in parallel with a reistor. It will still work mostly fine, but it's so old you should still replace it.
My guess is Pentium knows what it is for sure. I don't think it's a critical part if you take into account that it still works. And as for what caused it, I think it could've been a loose screw that was rocking around in there. I only removed six screws but somehow ended up with 7, and one which I found underneath the bag reservoir.

You should be fine just leaving it out as long as you actually do remove it, those things like to short out. If you want to replace it just get a suitably rated X2 class capacitor. The value of the capacitor is probably in the neighborhood of 100nF but it should be somewhere on the top or the other side of the thing.
I don't really monitor my browser RAM usage but I once managed to tank my CPU to the point Kega Fusion started to stutter emulating a Mega CD game just by rapidly resizing an image I had open on Reddit.
Search Ebay for a aftermarket battery pack form a reputable seller instead, unless you have spot-weld equipment for the battery ends. Also when buying 18650 cells, stick to known brand-name cells from non-shady sellers.
