Watch it be those homeowners who are asshole enough to steal random fixtures out of the house. When I moved into this place in 2001 they took all the lightbulbs with them.
This is why a lot of contracts set aside a portion of the sale in escrow to ensure that the house is delivered in 'as shown' condition. If it's as shown, and delivered vacant, they get the money after a month or two. Too many issues with people stealing furnaces, leaving the place open and tipping off scrap dealers, or just letting their drug addict relatives squat in it, not to insist on it anymore if it's not an insane deal. If they break any part of that agreement you have every right to be an absolute cunt about it too. They're getting paid to deliver a product meeting certain criteria. If they can't/won't, fuck em. I'll never understand why people feel the need to nickel and dime 5-10 dollars out of a quarter of a million dollar transaction. It's like they just want to win something, when selling the house is already winning in the first place. Then there's the jackasses. Some dipshit went around with 20+ cans of great stuff and plugged every toilet, drain, and faucet in a 2.5 million dollar house. What the fuck kind of twisted reality do these people live in where that's a sane thing to do? [editline]20th June 2016[/editline]
I wish I had to worry about my house/room being too cold. Even in winter, I'd sweat without AC.
Why not just open a window and use a small fan to move the chilly air in? That's significantly less power intensive.
It's a bit annoying to have one product on the Canadian website, but have this accessory that would go really well with that product not available on the Canadian website. I guess I have to find out where I can get a frigging docking station for something elsewhere then.
Temptation to buy gimmicky stuff rising.
Goddamn I see those glowing USB cables all the time and I know they're fucking stupid and I hate that I still want one solely because it glows.
The LED's show you the data moving through the cable. [editline]20th June 2016[/editline] That one is clearly in a USB 1.1 port.
Nah I'm pretty sure that's firewire.
It would be more useful to me if it glowed and flashed while it wasn't plugged into a device as well, preferably with a little remote control button, because I can never find my damn charger
Remembered out my dad has a pair of niiiice leadscrew actuators from some auto tape library he junked a number of years ago. These suckers are super nice, similar spec units on their own would easily cost $400 a pop. They both work, I remember him building an XY table with them briefly some years ago. He intended to use them in a 3d printer but never got around to it. Now its my turn. If I use these things correctly, then I'll only need one additional axis rail for Z and that'll give me most of what I need...
Temptation to buy gimmicky stuff rising.
I bought one and it quit working within a week.
Fuck I forgot how clunky Safari was. I need Firefox ASAP.
That or I'm currently slipping between parallel universes. I should just totally fuck with you and install XP parallels.
Safari is the nicest browser I've used even though it lacks stuff I dunno how you can consider that clunky???
The same way most people think old cars are clunky because they don't have A/C or powersteering. Because it's considered a norm nowadays.
Officially got my small refund for my crashplan subscription. It is done.
That isn't an issue [sp]on my Nokia N9[/sp]
Honestly your N9 memes are starting to get old now
That isn't an issue [sp]on my Nokia N9[/sp]
Cleaning the semen out of it's little cracks is the biggest issue
That isn't an issue [sp]on my Nokia N9[/sp]
Because it doesn't have 4GB of internal storage to begin with?
Why is OpenCamera the only thing that puts pictures on the SD card. Why is my internet connection so shit that I can't keep an SSH channel open for more than a few minutes at a time. Why does Transmission insist on overwriting authentication to false when I change it to true and include --auth. Why can Transmission not write to a folder owned by transmission:transmission with 770. Why do cats cat.
Hey fellow Cipwikketers, can I grab a life/career opinion from you guys? I'm deciding if I want to go to post secondary or do a variety of certifications to get myself into a nice tech job. I've been thinking that I want to go down the networking/server route and become a sysadmin. A majority of job descriptions and requirements I see say along the lines of "Post Secondary or relevant experience" required. My high school grades are shit and it would be a pain in the ass to upgrade them four years out of school, would it be feasible to go towards Network+/CCNA/etc. certs instead?
Certs usually mean more to employers that know what they're looking for. Its not a bad idea to do both since you can get access to some of the newer hardware/software to prepare you for the job while you're studying
As much as a degree is nice I'd go with certs for now especially if you're on a budget/time crunch. If you want to be a sysadmin a Network+/Security+/MCSA is a pretty potent combo and should be able to net you a decent paying job while you either get more certs or start up some school.

I think I might have found a winner.
So what exactly should I do when Rust uses all 990mhz?
these on-fob graphics are what happens when you don't have any competitors in your market
4gb of thumbnails wtf android?
Why is there a text cursor on File
So what exactly should I do when Rust uses all 990mhz?
You overclock your grafics so your gmod can use some of that mhz. Many colleges offers "bridge" programs or Apprenticeship degrees that allows you to transfer to a university for the 3rd and 4th year of a full bachelor degree. As long as you have high grades during your two years doing the bridge/apprenticeship, you shouldn't have much problem transferring to a real university. Without post secondary education, all you can really get in this day and age are just stepping stone job.
Honestly your N9 memes are starting to get old now
Starting? They were DOA. [sp]just like the N9 itself[/sp]
