You guys do realise that by pixelcrushing your avatars you're only giving Garry validation for his dumb ideas, right?
I've had avatars turned off for almost a year now so its whatever.

lol you think garry needs any validation from us to continue to steamroll his way through this
Garry has never done anything that has received outcry. Except remove IPs after I complained.

Well, it's good to see multiverse theory confirmed.

I don't think Garry cares. He's going to do what he wants regardless of what the community wa..
Nope. I can't do this. Oh my fucking god I sound like a whiny little shit in gmod or rust complaining about a bug or problem.

Is the subscription feed on YouTube broken for everyone else?
I can no longer set it to display as list, the button doesn't do anything. It's stuck to displaying as grid.

nah, it's just you and everyone else
So it turns out that when you drag and drop stuff in Windows (10), you can only do one at a time.
I was dragging and dropping footage from Windows Explorer to Premiere CC and Premiere did it's typical importing thing. Someone sent me a link and I wanted to drag it to my web browser and it turns out that I couldn't do that until the importing finished.
If you're wondering why I don't just open the link, I wanted to open it in a specific web browser.
This is something I noticed too. I'd be fine with it limited to one drive to drive copy but let other transfers from other disks or something go ahead or if they are small like a few hundred mb.
I should really just get an old computer or something that is dedicated to just uploading crap onto Google Drive. I can't really pause and resume uploads to Google Drive without it fucking up and forgetting about some files, or redoing the upload entirely so if anything, I should find a program that would upload files and check if Google Drive actually has it all. Or just drag and upload stuff and forget about it.
I have like 3TB to upload and it's going to take about a month to upload with my 10Mbps upload speed. I don't think I can get any faster upload on any ISP unless I get gigabit or something at my place.
You're still having big problems with Google Drive?
Hey does anyone know of a graphics card that will give me 8 TV-outs? I want to make a crazy video wall out of ancient portable TVs, but getting VGA to composite converters is rather expensive and will make a nightmarish rat's nest of cables. If I could get 8 S-Video or Composite outputs per GPU, that would make this conversion a LOT easier. Pentium?
I had a period where I used a 1x1 tracking pixel I stole from some website, as my avatar.
Then I just decided to disable my avatar.

My avatar doesn't like the thought of being 16x16.
I wouldn't be surprised if it fucked my, or anyone elses install.
So after alot of i-dunno-what it finally stops, shows about the almost same amount of updates, i pick some off the Win10 related shit off, and set it to download and install them ...
It's the exact same shit as before. Downloading 66 updates, and it's fucking stuck again, right on 0%.
I think it took like 2 weeks to actually install all of the updates for Windows 7 after installing SP1. Microsoft should really make a SP2 for Windows 7..

I think I should just fix this by using TeraCopy. For the longest time ever, I've been using Windows Explorer to do all of the copying and I never really had a need for TeraCopy.

I wouldn't say I really had major problems besides it not resuming uploads after let's say, a reboot or browser crash so I might as well delete the folder I just uploaded and redo the upload. Otherwise, it would just reupload the folder and I end up with 2 similar named folders and no way to find out which one is which.
Another thing I found really annoying about Google Drive (at least on the web browser version of it) is that there is no way for me to find out how much storage it is using and how many files and folders are in it. So I assume that uploading via the browser works fine and nothing broke after seeing the green check mark.
I should just install a program that would mount Google Drive as a drive in Windows Explorer but not actually load the files for offline access. I just want to see how many files and folders are in a specific folder so I can validate that it uploaded properly. I think I used something called NetDrive or similar, but I want to use a free program for it and I have yet to start looking for some. I used the trial of NetDrive or something similar and it seemed to work, but still would like a free solution instead. Since the trial ended, I was just dragging and dropping stuff into Google Drive via Chrome.
The Google Drive desktop app is kinda useless since I can't have multiple accounts logged in at the same time. There is a way to have multiple accounts set up but that is more of a work around and it would have been so much better if Google actually added that functionality instead of having you mess with environment variables or something like that.

Unless you want CGA for composite out no such device existed. By the time of VGA most people just bought composite adapters.

or maybe it's because newpunch is early access and newpunch data isn't safe to move to stable punch?
Will it ever occur to you that not every single fucking thing is a personal attack?

Web browser version is slow as fuck too. I've got like 200 up and I don't hit a fraction of it.

I guess my home upload speed is actually fast enough for it to not be slow as shit. Overnight, according to Task Manager, I hit 16Mbps on the web browser version so that's good I guess.

Yeah 16 is a fraction of my upload :v:
Yeah 16 is a fraction of my upload :v:
And my upload is supposed to be 10Mbps but I guess overnight and overtime it eventually peaks to 16Mbps. I've uploaded on faster networks (i.e. 100Mbps upload) and it seems to do like 90Mbps upload so I don't know what's going on your end.
I'm about to kill someone.
My modem at this apartment shows perfect upstream and downstream signal. It shows that it's ranged and online. But it's not. I can't access or ping anything. I'm currently directly connected to the modem and it gave me an IP, DNS servers, and everything else. But nothing's getting through. I can't ping anything.
The best part is I can't get support from Comcast either because I'm not the owner of the account, the rental company is. And they're out of the office for the day. Fuck me.
[editline]1st June 2016[/editline]
This is like one of those "you have internet because I say you do" type things, except it's the modem telling me that instead of some Indian guy.

Speaking of some Indian guy, when I was cancelling our Internet service, the guy kept on saying that "YOU WILL LOSE YOUR INTERNET ADDRESS". If he was talking about IP address, I don't give a shit and neither should anyone.

Only reason I care is so that my server can shit a backup onto my computer once a week. Speaking of which, can't wait until monday rocks around so I can figure out what I fucked up when it doesn't work.
Premiere CC is finding more ways to annoy me. Apparently Shift+Vertical scrolling doesn't do horizontal scrolling in the bins. The sliders to adjust things i.e. frame rotation is annoying as shit. Trying to go any direction doesn't do jack shit until it finally decides to react and it flips your image a million times clockwise... So I just enter values instead of dealing with the semi-retarded sliders.
I think the lightning yesterday might've fried this modem. There's really no other explanation at this point besides faulty hardware. Looks like I get to go the rest of the night tethered to my 10 gb of data on my phone.
Yay
