Can you at least convince them to reencode it before sending it? Receiving raw Fraps files over the internet must be awful.
I don't think their upload speed is going to be amazing so if anything, I'll get them to either record highly compressed files, or uncompressed files, then get them to compress them so it doesn't take forever to upload and download it. Also I don't want to download a single 60GB record. They are gonna send me an hours worth of recording and i am pretty sure fraps does 1GB/minute..

So, I bit the bullet and got the X56. No faults so far. It's got so many buttons. The throttle is a little bit stiff, even on the lowest setting, but I'm sure that's just part of it being new. But seriously, I have no idea what to use all of these buttons for, but at least I have enough now. IMO, the bases could stand to have a little bit more weight to them, but they're so large I don't see them toppling over or anything during normal use.
or try upgrading to windows 10 first
hahahaha yeah no thanks, i'm having way too much trouble with it installing it on computers at work, i don't want to touch it with a kilometer long pole
hahahaha yeah no thanks, i'm having way too much trouble with it installing it on computers at work, i don't want to touch it with a kilometer long pole
maybe the fact that you have no enterprise equipment budget has something to do with that and nothing to do with the stability of windows 10
maybe the fact that you have no enterprise equipment budget has something to do with that and nothing to do with the stability of windows 10
i have literally no idea what you're talking about, i don't see how windows 10 changes based on how much money you have no, just one reason i don't want it is the fact that microsoft throatfucks you with ads about it everywhere
yeah and they throatfuck you with ads because they don't want an xp situation again and since people like you refuse to update they have to
But tactics like that are largely why I refuse to update?
But tactics like that are largely why I refuse to update?
well you can update now and basically never have to pay for a windows update again or be using windows 8 (not even 8.1 jesus) 10 years from now
well you can update now and basically never have to pay for a windows update again or be using windows 8 (not even 8.1 jesus) 10 years from now
Well if you know a way I could update to 8.1 without it automatically going to 10 the second I turn updates back on then I'd be down.
Well if you know a way I could update to 8.1 without it automatically going to 10 the second I turn updates back on then I'd be down.
my fix is update to 10 :) seriously this hate boner people have against w10 is getting ridiculous
except it wasn't a forced upgrade for me? i was legitimately excited to upgrade to 10
yeah well i don't like it for a multitude of reasons (mostly the same reasons why businesses usually don't want it too), and i don't want to upgrade, that's that. i am in the control of the computer, not the other way around, which is what they're going for here like with apple
Interesting solution, it could work. It's just that I don't have a server and if anything, it would be my laptop on when they are recording. Probably easier for them to record it locally, and then upload it to me. They probably want to see it before uploading it to their channel so I'd have to upload it anyways and they would download it anyways. Might as well give it to them so I don't have to worry about uploading it and setting up the video settings for YouTube.
Could probably set up an Odroid or other mini-computer to use as the server, and upload to YouTube as a private video so they can watch it then make it public on their own accord. Though your solution doesn't require server set up and such, so it's probably ideal to try first :v:
tell me how you are the computer's bitch
forced auto updates, restarting whenever it wants to, default shitty settings for data collection/connecting to public wifi/sharing updates to the internet, candy crush installed by default (wtf), stupid onedrive stuff, even more convoluted metro app design that takes up my whole screen to show 3 buttons, nesting settings in multiple different screens (8 has this too though) i just want a barebones os where i have the control and put everything in
enjoy your EOL operating systems
doesn't bother me, i don't use windows update
tell me how you are the computer's bitch [editline]20th July 2016[/editline] whatever enjoy your EOL operating systems
Windows 10 is alright and probably preferable to 7/8 but being a nanny OS is extremely annoying regardless. I'll take my Linux and run with it :v:

Watching other CIPWTTKT people fight over which OS is better really feels meta to me for some reason...

Windows 8, 8.1 and 10's most useful thing to me is this right here Also the scaling improvements over Windows 7 is worth it. TBH I update Windows 10 frequently, I just find it really annoying when I schedule it for Tuesday but when I reboot, it starts installing updates. No Windows 10, I reboot because I want to fix something. Not install the updates that I scheduled for two days later..
redstone isn't OUT YET jesus CHRIST so you want no apps installed right would you like to manually make an http request to mozilla.com/releases/fx/fx_stable.exe
Why are you so mad at the concept some people don't like how forced Microsoft has become with Windows 10 as a whole, and ontop of that pretty much forcing their services down your throat at any given opportunity?
