In the past I've assumed I can do bridge on certain devices and wasted money, so I'm trying to be careful to buy the right product. I want like a box with good antenna with 2-4 ports. With atleast 50mbps from that range. Something like this maybe: http://www.amazon.com/Edimax-CV-7428nS-Wireless-Universal-Consoles/dp/B00BZQLBG0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1464966938&sr=8-1&keywords=Wifi+Bridge But I want to buy a better brand. Edit: Maybe I'll get this: http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WA801ND-Wireless-300Mbps-Repeater/dp/B004UBU8IE/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1464966938&sr=8-5&keywords=Wifi+Bridge and like a simple 5 port switch and stick em together.
Ubiquiti Bullet series does bridge and I've got a few of them. I used one as a bridge for a few weeks when house internet was down, stole wifi from unprotected neighborhood AP's and a large gain antenna. [editline]3rd June 2016[/editline] But they're a bit more pricey.
Hmm. I wonder why our PoE unifi wasn't working right on this run. [T]http://i.imgur.com/prAggrq.jpg[/t]
Just this week we had demo guys cut a cable and they fixed it with wire nuts.. One of our own guys also cut a cable he was told not to Why can't people trace the damn things to make sure they're not connected to anything. The ceiling tiles are all down anyways. It's not hard. Also I think Godaddy changed their webpage cause my ip-updating script does not appear to be working.

I really like the tri-bladed fan designs in the old Macs. Something about the huge blades and grey colour.
All I can think is "Man that is one shitty fire extinguisher".
All I can think is "Man that is one shitty fire extinguisher".
I wouldn't want to use anything BUT a carbon dioxide extinguisher in a server room. After that you just go all-out with a Halon system. :v:

He's obviously naked and just put something over to take the photo.
Pants? In a man cave? Oh come on now.
He's obviously naked and just put something over to take the photo.
TMI alert. [sp]Just out of the shower. My penis might of also been hanging out behind that mac as well.[/sp]
:buddy:
What's the numbers on the whiteboard?
What's the numbers on the whiteboard?
Running old computers ain't cheap. There's an extra KwH meter exclusive to this room so I pay for only the power I use. Those numbers are what the meter read at the first of each month. The meter was at 00000 when I installed it in 2013.
Why not use the mac pro as the main desktop? They're surprisingly powerful for their age.
We discussed that last week.
Seriously though, my 2008 mac pro steam rolls my 3570k in video encoding. As for the graphics card, any pcie card will work. You only lose the bootscreen.
Hey, a bit but, have you managed to restore article text after you uBlock the popup? I've tried to do the same you did today, but the article text seems gone (I suspect it's because of their inline adblock.min.js)
nah, i simply quit reading the page

I've got an airfiber as my WAN connection coming into an ubiquiti edgerouter, to an ubiquiti PoE touchswitch that powers an indoor AC access point and an outdoor G access point. When I move I want to swap over to full unifi though. Gunna pick up one of their unifi security gateways, 8 port unifi PoE switch, and just an indoor AC

I'm at the Edgerouter + Bullet AP stage where you realize just how obtainable UBNT gear is.

That picture puts Linus right in the uncomfortable zone between scene guy and trap-tier. [editline]---[/editline] Props for getting that close tho
