If I remember correctly, they were planning to release a model after the initial consumer version specifically tailored to fit on existing glasses frames.

It isn't fully in mass production yet and this version is (as far as i know) mostly aimed at developers who want to get their hands on it first.
Could they use this technology to make some sort of head mounted monitor you can use with your phone or some sort of small computer to do work while walking around?

I should hope so, it's a dick move to go "hey we're making this amazing product that no one else has created, now to use it to its full advantage, you need one of OUR phones". Yeah I know Apple technically does this a lot, but it's not something I expect from Google

It looks like it may need some OS integration that iOS doesn't have. Pebble is already having issues with this because the iOS bluetooth experience is drastically worse than Android's

At least iOS will send track information over bluetooth, AOSP Android still doesn't support that. I don't own a Pebble, though it sucks when I stream music to my car stereo.

It doesn't work with anything on my Galaxy Nexus running the latest CM, which is using the ASOP bluetooth stuff. AFAIK, they're still using AVRCP 1.0, which only allows you to send basic controls to the phone. What are you using your phone with?

She was my "Glass guide". Basically a person who gets you setup with your Glass and shows you all the ins and outs of it.
I got there super early but they let me in early so most of the folks staffing came over and said hello and introduced themselves. They were all super friendly and awesome. It was a really nice event, totally worth going to the pickup event rather than getting it shipped.
