• Twinfrozr vs Gigabyte Windforce?

I'll be getting a GTX 660 and I need to know which manufacturer I should it get from: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125443 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127699
IMO, Gigabyte's coolers are generally ugly. But, it's all a matter of picking your poison. I have a MSI GTX 660 ti with the Twin Frozr 4 cooler. Bit loud at times, but keeps my card under 61 C at all times with this fan curve in MSI Afterburner: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/PcI08.png[/thumb]

I personally wouldn't get either. Fans that exhaust into the case, rather than blow exhaust out the back of the case are just annoying.
I'd get the Windforc, simply because it's a tiny bit cheaper, and if I remember correctly they're about qual in performance. You could search for reviews in order to make the best decision, though. It might be bad that it exhausts into the case, but the acoustics (and temps) are much better than on the stock exhaust coolers Nvidia and AMD use.
I would get the MSI, just because it looks better.
Just looked up a review (didn't because I was in school), and it'd seem that the Twinfrozr is sligthly better. Along with better looks, I guess it could be worth $10 is you're that kind of guy.
I have an Asus GTX670 with this cooler. The card in the image is an GTX660. It's very silent and keeps the card cooled properly.
What temp. do you want to keep the card at?
Gigabyte makes thinner, cooler cards. I don't care if it's ugly. Go Gigabyte.
What temp. do you want to keep the card at?
I don't really care about temperature, as long as it doesn't overheat.
I don't really care about temperature, as long as it doesn't overheat.
Then any card will do they all don't overheat the keplar series card don't really overheat at all
A new card shouldn't overheat anyway. It's all about the noise. I would avoid these wind turbines at all cost: . Al tough these are very proper coolers, they make a ridiculous amount of noise. No joke; many vacuum cleaners work the exact same way as these fans do.

But MSI vs Gigabyte? Gigabyte all the way.

Just ordered the Gigabyte one, was cheaper and should perform the same anyway.
