Well, for some reason I can't, so, the source code would be easier :downs:
@the song.
Didn't free much, but knowing it opened up some for me is good enough. :)
EDIT: Woah. Now it helped a lot.

Hmm...
The quickkey you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.
Woah, I'm 92% of my RAM. This lowered it to 86%. That's still a bit high. I am running some crap though.
EDIT
Closed eJay, Premier Pro and Photoshop CS3 and it's back down to 30%. Makes sense.
Updated!
Updated!
Woho!
Why would you turn off SuperFetch? It doesn't slow anything down seeing as how Windows frees the ram if needed anyways.
That said, good job for making a ram freer that doesn't just hog all the memory and then free it, it's very annoying to see people purporting how much faster that makes their systems.
Updated!
Which link? The one above?
Edit:
Oh, never mind, got it.
This is great, CE2 Sanbox 2 doesn't crash as much now!
love you megacoder
How do you mute the song? I put True for mute in the configurations file but it keeps playing that song. It's drilling into my brain.

It can't be, it's such an awesome song! If it's really beeing a pain you could just delete the sound file maybe?

Yeah, you could try to just delete the sound file.
Edit:
Oh yeah, did you restart the program after saving the config file?

I did the same thing, right click and close Ram Freer then start it again after you've changed mute to true.
I love you.
Will freeing ram in the middle of some programs saving content cause it to corrupt any data though?

I've been running autofreer while playing games for hours now, no problems so far.

Nope. Remember, it's totally passive, not invasive. There's no risks or dangers.
Can you make a feature to make it automatically run on startup?
Can you make a feature to make it automatically run on startup?
That'd just be putting it in a Run registry key. I think that's possible.
Awesome! Gonna use it for my crappy 1 gig of RAM, you are great dude! Burger for you! :burger: :freeman:
The only thing I can think of now is to have a tooltip pop up when you free RAMfrom the tray that says "Ram Freed: X-MB."
The only thing I can think of now is to have a tooltip pop up when you free RAMfrom the tray that says "Ram Freed: X-MB."
That's not hard, let me look in to how to do that :downs:
Edit:
Ah, you'd just have to add this:
TrayTip("RAM Freed", $memfreed & " MB", 10, 1)
For example.

Hmm, doesn't seem to work, strange...
Sorry for not being very active lately, I've been busy. But once friday is over, I'll have a free week. Then I'll try to shove out an update.
So after procrastinating for two weeks, I decided I'll come back to this. If I work nonstop, I might have the next update out in 4 hours. (yeah right)
So, once again, make suggestions now or forever (or so) hold your peace.
make it work in linux.
Make it able to update in intervals so you don't have to do it manually.
Make it able to update in intervals so you don't have to do it manually.
It already has that, open the settings file.
Edit:
Oh, I get what you mean. Next update will have it automatically check for updates every time it's started. (You can disable that, though)
It already has that, open the settings file.
What is the chance of linux compatability, I want to use it on my computer with 128 megs of ram, and a 250 mhz cpu, puppy linux 4 uses about 70 of those megs of ram idle, and running even opera is slowed to a crawl.

It doesn't work with WINE?

Chance is very small considering AutoIT is Windows Programming and only includes a windows compiler.
