From 2120mb used to 1950mb..
Vista Home Premium 32-bit.
Meh.
Well, this is a good program the only other thing I can think of is making it start on startup, then this will be complete.
I'll be shoving this on my EEE as soon as it arrives.

Added to the todo list.
Here's 3.11 Beta. The changelog is long, but it's included in the download. The source and the executable are now both going to be included in the same download, for simplcity's sake. I've also included my todo list, so you can see what to expect next. Download here:

Cool. Just wanted to say to anyone here that thinks this is a virus or some stupid shit. Tested the .rar above with NOD32 latest version. It's clean.

it's a .zip
Whoops.
Ugh. This music is annoying. I'm going to delete deebdeeb.mp3 now.
EDIT: Lol, just noticed the settings file. Whoops again.

You can just mute it, but that works too.
Alright, muted it and set it to auto free memory. This is an awesome program. Why didn't Microsoft add in an application like this though?
Hmm, the version update page isn't working, so it looks like I'll have to talk to Vicis about fixing that. This means that even if I release a new version, RamFreer will still think people with 3.1 have the latest version.
If I work at it, IE, pressing the button, waiting for a few seconds, pressing it again, I can drop by as much as 10%. Hooray!
Edit:
Also, awesome music.
Well, it turns out that Vicis, who has been hosting the update system up until now, can't reliably host anymore. So we have to switch to tezzanator's server now. I'm trying to get Vicis' host to keep one more update file hosted so the old versions will see the new upgrade, but after that, it'll be based on tezz's site.

Oh yeah, please give feedback on the beta! As soon as I know it's good, I can release it so I can try to get everyone updated.

Hahaha.
Is there a way of setting it so that it runs everytime I log on or restart my PC?

Happy?
Oh sorry I missed that.
Great music.
Great music.
JESUS GOD NO!
Drives through me like a nail.
3.2 released.
Looking good 'blunk.
The music doesn't work for me :(

I think he might have removed it from this update. I don't think many people praised it.
This is coming along great. I love this program.

Nah, it's still in there.
I found one more bug, because I rock at finding bugs. It is the same one that I found before, where multiple instances of "Show RAM freer" will appear. The way of replicating it this time is, double clicking on it, minimizing it (to Rocket Dock in my case) and then maximizing it, then X ing it away to the tray, thus causing the bug. I am not sure if you are still working on this, but it would be nice if you fixed it.

Hmm, lemme try that.
Edit:
I can't get it to happen.
Edit:
But I just realized that it doesn't create a tray option to restore RamFreer if you start it with -h, so I'll fix that and release an update.
Nice job. I can surley use this when I'm alt + tabbing from game to forums.
Hm, I'm sure there must be some way to allow the user to run it by clicking a key on their keyboard, especially the macro keys in the G15 or whatever. There's probably a way, no?
Edit:
But then of course you'd need another key to turn it off because of that fucking music. :D

That's possible, but I think autofree would be more useful than that.
