Is there a way you can fortify it though so IF there are more than 1 instances of "Show Ram Freer" remove all but 1. Also, I have this program starting up on my computer's start up, and the "Show Ram Freer" does not appear until I maximize it from the tray. I personally would suggest removing the "Show Ram Freer" all together, since you can bring it up by double clicking on the tray icon anyway. It just seems a little redundant.

This makes me think of something.
mBlunk, what are the odds of you making RamFreer work as a gadget in the sidebar?

Yeah, I saw that bug a few days ago. I'm doing some other minor changes to it, so once I get every cleared up, I'll release the update.

Just a guess. Near to zero.
Vista Sidebar gadgets are based on HTMl. This program is not. It would take massive programming to even make an interface in the sidebar. But it is possible of course.

Neat. Freed up 40 MB. I might want to use it next time I run AudioSurf.

Remember each chrome tab is a new exe.
Just use minimem or something
Wow. It doesn't seem like it was 2 years ago.
A very big bump, for a very good app.
A friend notified me about this thread being bumped - I hardly even remember this thing.

1.5 gigs if fine.
Awesome. Brofist.
Freed up to 145mb with this, very nice.
Download is dead. Thought I'd bump because this thing is good.
I'd normally hate you for bumping an old thread, but this tool seems pretty useful. If anyone has a copy, they should share it.
I was wondering why this thread was so familiar.
Don't use this on Vista or Windows 7, please, it will only slow your PC down because the RAM has superfetch'd stuff in it already.

Panda X: Resident Super Guru. Thank you for the link dude.

I used it on my Win7 machine a lot when playing certain games that would crash if not kept in check by this program, actually.

Also, I can confirm Panda uploaded the most recent version, albeit with his own color icons, lol
Anyways, last thing I remember doing to it was an emergency fix to the broken updater. Scientwist says he worked on it and updated the links, but I don't have much faith in the updater code.. if anyone wants to check that out, I'll support this program a bit and update it some more, and see how else I can improve it.
