Well, there is that one apartment that keeps stumbling home, drunk, at 3am, laughing like, well, drunk people stumbling home at 3am. The screechy kind.
Those people? FUCK THEM. But everyone else is good.
The kind that has car door slamming competitions around the same time?
Faster. Also since we're stuck with Node (At least for now), no built in blowfish but built in SHA, MD5, etc.
Ah, right. I've never used Node - not a big fan of Javascript.
Just re-implement it yourself.

But. But. But. Effort.

I'd rather be using Rails or Sinatra or something but compromised on Node to shut Goz3rr up.

I'm on the third floor, and it's a building with brick walls (used to be a tobacco warehouse) so I don't hear outside noises unless I'm right by the window.
Lot of outside noises, though, with the fire department and a hospital in one direction and the train tracks in another. But get 10ft from the window and it's quiet.

Me, I'd have just coded it in PHP, but that's me.
With a framework, though! I'm not that crazy. CodeIgniter is sufficient for me. Fixes the bigger problems with PHP without forcing you to do things their way.
Plus, the Active Database Query syntax is awesome:
$this->db->select("posts.id, threads.name, users.id, usersname, posts.content")->from("posts")->join("threads", "posts.thread_id = threads.id")->join("posts.uses_id = users.id")->where("threads.id", $thread)->order_by("posts.date", "ASC");
Automatically escapes all your queries and everything, works with any DB worth using (and MSSQL).
Anyone else feel like the amount of data they keep is borderline OCD/Hoarder?

I think the sign I might be a hoarder was when my initial reaction was "lol that's nothing"
Living near a pub is the worst. Drunkards at 3am sucks. Especially when they try to steal your car.
I'm not saying who is and who isnt yet but simply put if you're a gold (Turns out everyone on the list is a gold :v:) and you're a long time member of the thread, you're proooooobably on the list.
Am I on it? :3
EDIT: I was expecting automerge. I am disappointed.

Most good ORMs will do that for you. And any MVC framework is awesome. The framework were using for node is mostly MVC so it's usable. I'd kill myself if it was normal node with some http library.
I think comic saaans edition was my first cipwttkt. not sure if I posted or lurked though, I lost like 3 fp accounts before I became a ~regular~

That's why I drive a piece-of-shit car in an ugly color.
I mean, what are you going to steal - the Hummer with spinning rims, the Carrera, the Harley, or the purple-burgundy '97 Eagle that hasn't been washed since the Bush administration with poorly-applied tint half-removed from the rear window and a water pump that squeals like fingernails on chalk if it's under 10C?
Shit, I think if someone stole it, I'd actually *make* money off the insurance at this point.
I actually am kinda planning to replace it soon, though. Thing is a bitch to parallel-park, and it's started misfiring if I accelerate too fast.

Well, if you're pissed drunk and just want an easy ride back, jack the shit car that has no security. Happened to me twice before we ended up replacing the old thing.
I have a magnificent avatar
I think that's a good reason to make me a mod
Is it just me or do SATA cables (especially the fucking power connectors) seem to destroy any semblance of cable management
so do i need to make a hedgehog joke or what

I'm pretty sure if anyone stole my car, I'd find it the next morning parked outside the apartment with a note demanding a refund taped to the steering wheel.

Or it just torched 2 roads across. :v:
I'm playing through MGS3 and really can't get used to the pressure sensitiveness of the controls because I always mashed hard on my PC gamepads so it'd register, goddamn chinese crap
so instead of doing cool judo CQC throws I end up slitting everyone's throats :v:
well maybe you can adjust it or soemthing? :v:

Oh god. My sister had this hummer racing game for the ps2. To actually drive more than 3 meters an hour you had to fucking embed your thumb into the button cavity. Worst thing ever.
Nope, have to get used to it. Shame MGS3 has no virtual missions or whatever they're called where I can just practice doing the same attack a bunch of times so I can get used to it.
I've spent the better part of 4 hours trying to get my mom's damn Win7 Home Premium laptop to print to my Linux print server using CUPS and IPP.
There is nothing wrong with the print server, as far as I can tell. I can print to it fine on my XP machine, Windows 7 Pro server, Windows 8 Pro laptop and my sister's Macbook sees it as well. I can add the printer and it successfully goes through the wizard, up until you print a test page and it absolutely shits itself and as far as the print server goes, a job is never even queued. Implying that it can tell there is a printer there, but it can't send jobs?
All I can say is that its starting to piss me off because ironically my mom needs printing the most.
