i can't even pull off a shadowsniper873, pcs here are barely connected, and any work done on them is not important to grades or anything :c
http://www.trust.com/products/product.aspx?artnr=15178 Works out of the box on my Debian stable server. It worked for about a two weeks and suddenly just packed in working on my laptop. It has a great battery life too :c
"Trust" ? More like shit. I had that exact mouse on my laptop and not only it packed in, it packed my laptop in too and I got the mainboard replaced by myself.
Not sure if its correct to post here but, the Dutch police high tech force has released this challenge where you need to hunt down a made-up person that the police made in cooperation with several dutch sites. Now i need to find out about a person who is spreading a virus through reading her internet/chat history in a .pcap file (using Wireshark) Anyone got any experience with Wireshark?
If it's not in plane text it might be a pain in the ass to decode encrypted messages.
I was looking for ergonomically shaped bluetooth mice without that horrible revolting black glossy plastic that picks up ever single fingerprint. That's all I could find that was the same shape and looked slightly decently made. I have a feeling I should have just splurged £35 on a official Thinkpad mouse.
Why wireless when you can just go wired? I use a wired mini Logitech mouse. Works great. But I ain't on a laptop right now.

They do break for no reason (The reciever doesn't care about the signal) after 2-3 years though. Also, it would also only run on only one AA battery too.
[t]http://tctechcrunch2011.files.wordpress.com/2010/09/arc_touch_mouse-4.jpg[/t] Best mobile mouse of all years
[t]http://tctechcrunch2011.files.wordpress.com/2010/09/arc_touch_mouse-4.jpg[/t] Best mobile mouse of all years
Broke one of those just by sitting on one by accident, it was someone's mouse. I was called a lard-arse.
If it's not in plane text it might be a pain in the ass to decode encrypted messages.
It shouldn't be that hard, since the previous questions all could be answered with google. This is the first question where you actually need software. There's about 130MB of pcap logs :l According to other people you don't need to bruteforce anything until later on. All we have is the logs and are told to find a username of someone in charge of the made up crime organisation. I'll upload the pcap files for those interested
I got one of these for my laptop: For £3.99 it's a brilliant mouse. Got a decent weight to it and 'clicks' nicely.
Well mine has been great, been through lots of use and people that keep turning it on and off (for those who don't know, you turn it on/off by bending it) [editline]6th March 2013[/editline] If mine broke I'd buy another.
Okay so the Dell mainboard has arrived. Oh, MCE 2005 key.

Next thing up, we have a memory dump and a truecrypt container, and we need to find a bank account number than transferred 5000 euros.

He got a good payout from it. [editline]6th March 2013[/editline]
I mean as in the sale was 70$ off. Sorry for that. Total price was 517 dollars, where you would get Assassin's Creed III, Planetside 2 in-game money, World of Tanks money, and something else.
You paid 517 for a 670 or 447 for a 670? Either one is too much.
Network admin asked me to help build and configure a rack of equipment today. I haven't smiled this big since I blocked Landstorm.
Oh for christ sake, what is going on. My nvidia T61 is starting to artifact in ubuntu.
i'd love to put windows 8 or mac os on a chromebook pixel probably mac os though, that shit's amazing with a touchpad
Games. I figure the 1440p monitor for games where speed doesn't matter (and for the screen space when working), and the 120Hz (or 144Hz, I guess) monitor for high-speed games and *maybe* 3D (although FUCK THAT if I have to drop another $100 on glasses and shit, and that's *if* it even works with a Radeon card).
This is late as hell but... Why not get one of the LG panel 1440p monitors that do 120hz? I'm using one from Overlord computer and like it. Sure it only has dual-link DVI for input and no OSD to reduce input lag but its been good so far. I stick to 100hz with it though rather then 120hz, occasional artifacts at 120hz and just fine at 100hz and it has no issues with changing faster then the pixel response times. I think monoprice.com will get there 27" 2560x1440 monitors off backorder next month. Later on a 120hz model is supposed to come out. 2560x1440@100hz is quite nice. 3D doesn't work on them though.
Oh for christ sake, what is going on. My nvidia T61 is starting to artifact in ubuntu.
Is it the weird lettering one?
Oh for christ sake, what is going on. My nvidia T61 is starting to artifact in ubuntu.
obviously you didn't treat it right, you monster
Is it the weird lettering one?
It started with menus with funky colours, then i tried the official nVidia drivers and now it won't load the sidebar thingy or the top part, just the desktop. And it's at 1024 x 768 then i reinstalled the drivers it was using before and it's still the same. help

And I doubt a single 6870 will be pushing games at 120Hz 1440p. Also, I'll need more than one video input, since I'll often have my laptop connecting to it.
I think my t61 is one of the fixed ones, i'm not sure.

It only struggles for certain newer games. Planetside is still CPU bound at that resolution and the FPS is the same as crossfire HD6870 and single HD6870. The 1440p monitor that I got was $520 for the 120hz capable model, that included shipping etc. Monoprice had there 2560x1440 60hz one for $390.
