I have about 100-170 bucks to spend on a new Graphics card, any suggestions would be great. My current build: CPU: Intel Q6600 Quad-Core. GPU: Nvidia 9800GT 512mb. Mobo: Intel DG33BU PSU: 450watt stock. RAM: 4gigs Nvidia DDR2 800
Save up money for now, Your graphics card should be ok for a while longer. I'm still running my 8800GT 512! Just save up for one of those fuckin' kick ass cards!
I was hoping for the newest Ati 5 series, just not sure which one would be best.
If you are willing to save up a little bit more, I suggest the EVGA GTX 260. Costs 215 on Newegg.
Won't the PSU be a problem for most Graphics Cards? Well the new Ati's?

Well if he wants a 5000 series GPU, he is going to have trouble getting a decent PSU and a GPU for $170. My idea is keep using the 9800GT and buy a better PSU then save up for the Graphics. By the way, did you build the computer yourself or was it a pre-built? [editline]09:20PM[/editline] Hang-on, are you in America?

He won't need to upgrade his psu if he got a 5770.

I read around and found many people say 450watts is enough so I decided to get a nice card, any suggestions? I'm looking around Newegg and can't find which one I like better :D
