Docks usually have hardware acceleration as an optional feature, such as Cairo Dock, which I use.
There's no need to be a smart-ass.

My point is that hardware acceleration has always been an [B][i]option[/i][/B]. Docks can run just fine (usually faster) without all the pretty effects enabled.

Sorry to say this, but the black bar behind the dock ruins it.
His wallpaper isn't set to "Zoom", like it needs to be.

Since when do you need a graphics card to play video games? You may as well be asking the same thing.
I fixed up that black bar, and made 15 slightly variant copies of the image with different hues that are on a 5 minute timer to change. I'm really pleased with how it looks :)
