Does anyone know how to remove desktop icons in leopard? I've never liked them or use them, but I still like storing storing things in ~/Desktop. If anyone knows I'll use geektool and use cd ~/Desktop/; ls to show files on the desktop. And has anyone gotten the twitter stream working in geektool? I've tried two methods, neither of which worked. The smartest idea I saw was using http://josephbc:<password>@twitter.com/statuses/friends_timeline.rss but I never got it working.
