Is it just me, or did switching to Windows 7 make a dock useless? Because I just put all my shortcuts on the task bar I see no use for a dock anymore.

I use my dock the same way as I use the superbar.

Nothing special.
Trying to get Windows 7 to boot up in a VM in Linux just for the hell of it. I'm trying to get it to boot off the hard drive, as in the one I can reboot my computer into and use without a VM.
This is as far as I got:

It gets to the "Starting Windows..." screen, and before the Windows logo appears this flashes for less than a second. It took several tries just to get that blue screen screen shotted.
It's probably a video driver issue...
