Granted, I do believe this will be my last build with an Optical Drive(considering removing it from the case and putting the cover back on) but still. It's not DEAD.
New Apple displays are really nice, they waste a lot less space
http://www.apple.com/displays/
They also refreshed the Mac mini and Macbook Airs and they don't have optical drives.

I'm actually thinking of getting an Air at some point.
I'm actually thinking of getting an Air at some point.
You can have a netbook with far better specs for half the money

I don't want a netbook. Every netbook I've ever used the screen is way too small.
And my only experience with a mac is a slow ass eMac running 10.5.8 and I genuinely like it.

If the fruity logo would scrape off I would possibly have one.
But the dell ultrasharps look nicer IMO.

Electrical tape over the logo. That's what I just did to my TV because everytime my parents changed the volume on theirs, all of a sudden mine would go up.

That would just look untidy.
That would just look untidy.
I can't even see mine. Although I did cut the tape with an exacto knife to perfectly fit the sensor.
Yeah, but it no werk.
Get JuiceDefender to increase battery life, get PowerAMP for music.
Turboooo!
Off-Topic Shit: I picked up SNK vs Capcom 2 today for £5. Woo, fighting games.
And now for some content:
School Powerpoint. Papyrus and Comic Sans on one slide with shitty clipart. I nearly died.
At my school we had to make book report power points as a group as an assignment. One group used comic sans and put low quality jpegs and GIFs of Easter Island heads and stereotypical island natives with tiki masks EVERYWHERE.
Their book report was on Lord of the Flies.
Wish someone would give me a free Macbook Air.
I would so dualboot Windows 7 and Debian on that baby.
I like the design, but fuck the manufacturerer, price and operating system.

Why can't everyone make CR-48 clones?
Why can't everyone make CR-48 clones?
Damn, the design on that baby, way better than Air.
I don't like the specs but hell, those can be changed.
What I really want is a Cr-48 that has a nice i3, 4GB of RAM and some nice mid-range GPU. When you're not playing, use the graphics in the Sandy Bridge i3, but when you need the juice, use the proper GPU. Oh and a proper bloody battery.
You could juice so much battery life out of that thing.
My entire year was just made. Got a bunch of hate on twitter for this:

I'd like to point out. Chad Ochocinco, he had 2.3 million followers.
I never realized how many Beck supporters there were.

You know, they could even make the laptop ever so slightly thicker for a larger battery, I wouldn't care it still looks awesome.

Last week, actually.

That's kind of defeating the point of the Cr-48, which is "ultra-cheap, low-power laptop for regular usage". The most intensive game it needs to run is Angry Birds.

We just want the plain black unbranded style, not the internals.
Because I think it looks mean.
Same.
Namely, I got me uh, I think five music albums and one game on CDs, two other games on DVD.
Can't buy things online.
Also the games were on sale.

I just want a good laptop with a good battery that looks like this:
