They push the hot air back in instead of sucking it out :v:
http://bgky.craigslist.org/sys/2506229662.html
"Gamer RAM" Woah, this guy knows his shit. Seriously with a graphics card like that I doubt you would be playing many modern games.
I'm idling and 303MB of my VRAM is being used, imagine how poorly that card would perform :v: [editline]28th July 2011[/editline] No wait, I had a 1080p flash video in the background...
imagine how poorly that
I think I have a good idea, I had to fix one of my dad's friends computers yesterday, It was running on 2 256Mb DDR RAM sticks, one failed and windows wasn't booting. I have never seen a windows XP PC run so bloody slowly, I had all of the fancy effects turned off, EVERYTHING removed from startup in msconfig, it was just horrible. It's up to him to buy a new 1GB DDR stick to get his machine working right again, but, atleast it boots now. [editline]28th July 2011[/editline] Not to mention when I opened Firefox all of his Porn tabs spewed open again. I have all of that screencapped, also his "purchases" which I found in his AOL account.
Blackmail your dad for candy.
Yeah, I doubt elevators need that much processing power, if any all. Or do they? :tinfoil:
Don't they just use a ballast system?
Don't they just use a ballast system?
They have quite complex programming to decide if its overloaded, should stop at a floor, what is most efficient way of getting to each floor etc.
My sister's complaining about how a computer is stupid because a server is down and she can't watch her precious doll videos or Justin Beiber shit.
Probably just a user agent switcher.
It is.
Since I'm on my desktop playing games while my iMac has TWiT Live full screen in my poorly-ventilated room, it gets really hot in here. Since nobody likes swamp ass, I wanted to reduce some of the heat. The crawlspace under the stairs is right next to my room, so I punched a hole for an Ethernet cable and shoved the server in a corner. The awesome thing about this is that I don't hear anything, so I was able to crank up the fans. Also, since the server is right under where the front door is, I might be able to setup some sort of webcam, assuming I can find one that works in a temperature range of -40°C to +35°C.
punched a hole for an Ethernet cable and shoved the server in a corner
I'm picturing someone just punching a hole in the wall with their fist and then kicking the server in it's place :v:
