You're getting 2 MB/s and you're complaining?
I've always assumed that was bad. I'm sorry guys, I didn't mean to be an asshole. :ohdear:
I usually get 300-400kb/s. Appreciate your fast internet. :saddowns:
My friend says that about Hamachi.
I never understood the point of Hamachi. Forwarding your ports is much easier and much more effective.
I never understood the point of Hamachi. It's also nice to keep your laptop on the same network as your desktop, as long as you have an Internet connection.
trying to tell him that the only way you could get an infection from java is if you're an idiot and accept an untrusted applet from an untrusted source plus isn't the JRE sandboxed anyway?

I consider myself reasonably experienced with Linux. I always end up using Windows, however. Because of Steam, mostly, but not only. I feel Windows is more responsive (however Linux tends to be more stable). One thing I miss in Windows, though, is a decent tiling WM. Except that AwesomWM doesn't display titlebars, I would love something like that on Windows. Windows Snap goes a long way, but still not quite what I'd love to have.

Otherwise, I prefer Linux for...pretty much everything else.
Anything important happen in the last 10 or so pages? I've been busy and lacked the time to read them.

And since I'm a .NET developer, I really need to stick to Windows. :v: But when I'm at home, I could use Linux. I'd probably go with Mint (Debian edition, maybe), since I've had the best overall experience with that. Or Arch. Game of Nerds, Mac vs PC. Nothing really too interesting or worth reading back, IIRC.

Crap. Played Bad Company 2 for more than an hour on the different GPU. Works fine. Quit and try to browse internet -- BOOM BSOD. Said "System Service Exception"
Anything important happen in the last 10 or so pages? I've been busy and lacked the time to read them.
Had an argument with content. Fun to take part in but probably not as fun to read afterwards [editline]29th July 2011[/editline] Also, HP laptop. You may be pretty low spec and slow but damn you have good audio unf unf unf (Not the beats kind)
Did you know that planes "Black Box" is not black? And that the Black Box saves on tape, not on a HDD or SSD? And that on a about 2hour flight, it only saves about 15 minutes data? Did you know that plane batteries are about 25CM high or so, and it has 12 cells, each are 1 volt. They are connected with copper wire. Plane has multiple batteries like that. The lights on the plane work at 48 volts. The plane batteries are tested, by fully charging them and then connecting a light to it. If the battery has less power than 1 volt in it (Even 0.999) it is disposed. (Or given away to the plane mechanics) You can charge a plane battery with ~50 amp, compared to cars 4amps or so.
Haha, that's fitting. I just got the latest issue of a magazine I order. There's an article about what kind of laptop or tablet you should choose. There's a guy in a striped shirt with a cyan-colored scarf (aka gay hipster) with a Macbook Air and it says "Pappa betalar" on the Air's screen. Pappa betalar being a rather famous Swedish phrase that a lot of Finns use, meaning "Dad's paying".

To us it's more often used by well off brats (The Sweet 16 kind-ish)
Same here. It's just funny, go with it, enjoy life, some things in life don't need a reason. Most things do, though, but whatever.
