Some people are manufacturing power supplies with fake components that explode when used. The website is absolutely 100% Engrish gibberish, but you can pick out an important word once in a while if you have imagination. http://www.cloudfrom.com:8080/showItem/showDetail/10680033.html
Another question Which version of the NVIDA drivers are the best?
The... Latest ones? [editline]1st August 2011[/editline] damn laet :saddowns:
The latest?
What about beta drivers? Are they worth getting or should I still just get the latest stable one
What d'you want to do? Mostly depends on whether or not you want your GPU to stay stable at all times I guess? The beta drivers might crash.
What about beta drivers? Are they worth getting or should I still just get the latest stable one
The newest beta drivers are pretty good.
What d'you want to do? Mostly depends on whether or not you want your GPU to stay stable at all times I guess? The beta drivers might crash.
Do they offer a good performance boost for the risk that they may crash?
Do they offer a good performance boost for the risk that they may crash?
Not so much crashing as rendering incorrectly. Last time I tried Nvidia beta drivers, half of the buildings in Crysis 2 were missing.
no idea
Not so much crashing as rendering incorrectly. Last time I tried Nvidia beta drivers, half of the buildings in Crysis 2 were missing.
Latest stable sound like the better ones for me and I like my buildings to be in my game
i broke my gtx 460 overclocking time to play indie games until I get a job.
Hey kids. This is why you don't repeatedly flash your GPU BIOS trying to overclock!
What, you can flash your GPU BIOS to have a permanent overclock? I just use EVGA Precision to overclock :v: [editline]1st August 2011[/editline] Which is probably safer anyway
You usually don't even need to flash the BIOS, a simple setting modification will do.
I'm pretty satisfied with my 460's overclocking ability Stocks: Core 715 Shader 1430 Memory 1800 My OC: Core 870 Shader 1740 Memory 1870 :c00lbert:
Tell me, what is wrong with my radio? Sorry for the blurry picture, by the way.
Comic Sans on a fucking physical product? Let's find whoever decided to do this and kill them by locking them in a room filled with comic sans on the walls. They will die a slow and painful death, for sure.

The volume wheel doesn't change the volume, and the channels are always pretty static-ey. [editline]1st August 2011[/editline] Also, what's everyone's Game of Nerds usernames? I want to add some fellow facepunchers. Mine's chezhead.
You usually don't even need to flash the BIOS, a simple setting modification will do.
I know that. Shadaez flashed his BIOS like, 4 times trying to overclock it.
I'm pretty sure he learned his lesson though :v:

I'll just randomly shout 'comic saaaaaaans' even though they probably won't get an internet exclusive thing'. You won't change shit, most people don't give a fuck, deal with it.
Anyone ever get goosebumps from watching/hearing something incredible? I just did. http://starfox643d.nintendo.com/ I. Want. A 3Ds. And. THAT. GAME. I grew up playing SF64 and they made it look incredible! It seems they kept all the original sounds, but I guess they couldn't restore the original voices to a better quality so they just redid them with new people... Doesn't sound half bad but I wish they kept the originals. The poor quality made it seem like you were hearing them through the communicator in the Arwing. Brb playing SF64 on Virtual Console for now
Somehow they made Slippy's voice more annoying And wow the Arwing looks worse than the N64 version AND DON'T TELL ME THEY SCREWED UP FALCO
I was mostly joking, I don't hate Comic Sans extremely much, I just think it looks unprofessional as shite
Not directed towards you specifically, I'm just getting REALLY fed up with those people who throw hissy fits over a goddamn font.
I wonder if this old mother fucker still works [editline]1st August 2011[/editline] Welp, apparently not
An AGP mobo? I had one of those. 7 years ago.
Somehow they made Slippy's voice more annoying And wow the Arwing looks worse than the N64 version AND DON'T TELL ME THEY SCREWED UP FALCO
Slippy will forever be annoying Also the Arwing looks fine to me, guess I'm just not picky
An AGP mobo? I had one of those. 7 years ago.
Dude, I still have a mobo that's all ISA and PCI slots. It's actually got some really cool stuff. The entire expansion card area (including the part of the case you screw the faceplates into) is on a daughterboard. Pull it out, put in whatever cards you want, slide the whole thing back in. The PSU is cool, too - it's mounted on a swiveling part of the case. Open the side panel, pull out the PCI/ISA daughterboard and flip the PSU up, and it's the roomiest case I've ever used. Too bad it's also the oldest one I have. Slot-1 Pentium II processor? No thanks. I wish they had more motherboard/case systems like that, though. Update that for modern interfaces (and update the look to something besides "business beige"), and it would be awesome.

Holy fucking shit, Pentium 2? Shit just got REAL serious.
