My ISP is computer illiterate. They don't believe that the cable modem they gave us could possibly be faulty. Even when it dies a few times per week.
Happens to us multiple times per day. Probably like 10 times a week.
Ask him about how he pirated Vegas Nine to make those videos he always makes and spreads.
Mods can now ban users without needing to select a post?
Mods can now ban users without needing to select a post?
yeah they have been able to for awhile now
I just wake up and find LinuX banned? There is a god. [editline]6th July 2011[/editline] Or rather, there are mods that care.
He's dead, jim. [editline]5th July 2011[/editline] Want to see some true illiteracy? Here is linux attempting to steal my website; As you can see, not only is the design similar, the entire code was stolen and not even modified (in fact, most of it wasn't uploaded!) Guess he wasn't counting on a DMCA takedown, hope he learns that stealing someone else's hard work doesn't ever pay off!
He even has a copy of your original on his website.
My ISP is computer illiterate. They don't believe that the cable modem they gave us could possibly be faulty. Even when it dies a few times per week.
My ISP just tells me to hit it or restart it.
I wish OpenPandora was cheaper.
I wish OpenPandora was cheaper.
on mini-box (i think that's it) you can find an ARM board that is 400 mhz, 256 mb ram and a touch screen.. no QWERTY minikeyboard or casing though i'm sure you can make one [editline]6th July 2011[/editline] forgot to say it's for about 100 bucks

That is very impressive, I must say. Anyways, I'm trying to copy some files from my laptop onto my pc, the laptop is connected using wireless and my pc is connected to my router via cat6 (not sure if router supports gigabit lan). It's only transferring at about 1.7MB/s, which I find off because the wireless, even at it's reported 80% signal strength should top that easily, and both the hard drives in the laptop and pc are very modern with 100+MB/s sequential read/write speed so just what the hell is bottlenecking this transfer? I'm transferring it via homegroup.
because wireless
The transfer will be as fast as the slowest connection. Which in this case is the laptop, a large majority of wireless modems are only 54Mb which is 6.75MB, 1.7MB sounds about right as 802.11 operates in the same frequency spectrum as microwaves and other home appliances so it'd be receiving heavy interference which will cause packet drop.
04:40 PM - ***mad [h+]³: AUGH 04:40 PM - ***mad [h+]³: It's not Quick Reply if you have to press Quick Reply button to start writing 04:41 PM - ***mad [h+]³: Oh wait he removed Quick Reply box. 04:41 PM - ***mad [h+]³: Left the buttons 04:43 PM - ***mad [h+]³: And now the Quick Reply's back I must say I quite like the new look of it, though there is space wasted. And I hope that the smilies won't go there, if it stays.

Yes it does. He must have some shitty outdated version.
