Does anyone have experience with setting up a beowulf cluster?
I'm planning on making multiple pc designs (This being one) and to start selling them.
Im thinking about doing this during the school year. People know that I can build computers so if they wanted one (but without the hassle) I could do it for them. It would be like...
100-300$ - Charge 50$ more.
301-500$ - Charge 70$ more
and anything over 500$ - 80+ more
the dollar sign goes before the amounts, like this:
$100-$300 - Charge $50 more.
$301-$500 - Charge $70 more
and anything over $500 - $80+ more

The build i posted:
Price = 350 euro.
1TB instead of 500gb = 10 euro more (That gives me 1 euro profit :V)
A8-3850 instead of A6-3650 = 20 euro more (Doesn't give me any profit)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit = 90 euro more (5 cent profit woo OEM)
I can probably ship the PC's in the boxes the case came in.
ok thanks grammar nazi.
you're welcome
seriously it is simple shit how to write dollar amounts; 1st grade or even before you learn that come on

Most 'upgrades' i figure (once i get the budget for the build) will be on a case-to-case thing. If its RAM, im not looking for profit there. If its the Motherboard, GPU, or CPU... thats were the profit will be made.

The only thing i can change really is the Llano cpu, because it's a kit (CPU, Mobo, RAM) which saves me 20 euro :V
It's not the fact that I know what he's saying, it just makes no sense why you would put the dollar sign AFTER the amount
I've never understood why people do it, it makes no sense to me
I'll stop derailing now

It makes more sense for me.
Like amount of dollars.
Dollars of amount sounds weird to me.
Guys how's this:

(Case comes with 400w PSU)
Going to order that, assemble it and resell for 350 euro.
For some reason, site i'm buying it from states its a 400w PSU, while the MS-TECH (The company that makes the case) says its 430w..
It makes sense because you say "Twenty dollars" not "Dollars twenty".
Yes, but how hard is it to comprehend that you are supposed to put the dollar sign in front
you learn this in first grade and you cant bring yourself to use something so simple properly

Stop hammering on the position of the dollar sign, and use better capitalization and punctuation.

Too excited about tomorrow, can't sleep.
Apparently a friend wants me to look at his computer for him, to see if I can fix it. I'll be doing this for free, but if I can do this then he could tell his own friends, and his friends can tell his friends' friends and I can start charging for it.
Stop hammering on the position of the dollar sign, and use better capitalization and punctuation.
I'm sorry that on forum posts I don't use capitalization and punctuation all the time, I'll be sure to work on it. However, using a dollar sign is one of the most simple things ever, and I just don't understand how people continue to use it improperly. Even if you say it with "dollars" after it, can you really not comprehend that the symbol still goes in front?

Please stop.
Please stop.
Ok, I will stop. It's just a pet peeve of mine, it annoys me when people can not use simple things properly. I just get sick of always seeing it. I probably shouldn't have even started it and derailed, I'm sorry.
Anyway, in a couple of weeks I start an intro to HTML class (I know WAY more than that, I do freelance web dev work actually), so expect lots of content.
Ok, putting brains in the DVD drive didn't work.
Do you guys know all those "towel trick" videos that are on youtube?
Yeah, I tried doing this, and guess what? It worked! :buddy:
Backing shit up now

Different countries do it differently.
It's just a pet peeve of mine--
that is the single stupidest, most pointless pet peeve I've ever heard of
nevermind that a significant portion of the rest of civilization uses their currency sign that way, the placement doesn't affect the legibility or meaning in any way
it affects literally no one on the planet
Are you guys done arguing over another stupid little thing yet?
Different countries do it differently.
But the guy who posted it that started this is American.
okay
$50 50$ both sides happy? okay we can get back to GC and discussion now and not arguing over a sign that can go at both sides
Heh, the :20bux: emoticon puts it on both sides.
