Last time when I checked it, that account only had 6000+
Didn't realize I've been posting in FT 3x than in other forums on that account.
Where the hell do you normally post? Fast threads?
I made it with only ~100 posts in FT, it's pretty quick to do if you find yourself nice and cozy in a chat thread or megathread, just this past month or so I've done around 2000 posts

He's too awesome to be an asshole. Smug? Well maybe, but he's earned that position.

It's fun hearing him talking about the problems with memory limitations on consoles.

Consoles are the bane of the games industry.
Consoles are the bane of the games industry.
If there was a new one every 2-3 years or so, it wouldn't be so bad, but that kind of defeats the purpose of consoles. It's pretty much a loose/loose - people buy consoles as they want a nice, easy to use thing to play games on that is relatively cheap. (dedicated "gaming" prebuilts are expensive, and most of these people don't really know much about building PCs, also installing software may be somewhat hard to comprehend) If companies made new consoles every other year, it'd defeat the "cheap" aspect of a console.

Why doesn't ANYONE make properly priced gaming computers? :sigh:
if they made a cheapish console with mouse and keyboard support, along with a good web browser, I'd probably end up buying one to play with my friends
I don't see why console developers are coming up with these dumb motion control gimmicks when all they need to make 20% of the public happy is compatibility with keyboards and mice but still keeping the option for a controller.
The 360 would be a good base.
The PCs have shitloads more power when compared to the consoles, but they have problems like driver overhead.
How to make something work good as fuck:
Take Carmack, give him low-level access, wait a couple of years and boom, magic.
On the other hand, consoles are kinda useful because developers make games optimized for them, so I don't have to upgrade my PC every 2 years.

...
What the flying fuck does someone's Goddamn gender have to do with it.
Well, the Wii games are generaly girly, childish?
Well, the Wii games are generaly girly, childish?
... Really?
So...
Just because I'm female, that's the only reason why I like any of the games on the Wii?
(if this is true then many males I know are really females in disguise)
And trust me; I didn't buy any "childish" or "girly" games.
Childish, in my opinion, means:
Completely geared towards those of a young age, and anyone who's mature would likely not enjoy it unless you're a complete weirdo.
Most, if not all Nintendo-made games are enjoyable by anyone of any age.
Please tell me if I'm misunderstanding.

You're not, nintendo games are a hell of a lot of fun, what he means by childish is family games. Nintendo games are mostly family games or games you play with your friends when you feel like having a bit of fun.
... I still don't see where "family games" equates as "childish."
I didn't buy any family games either, not including Wii Sports because that was included.
Do you people count Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a family game?
I wouldn't because it requires actual skill...
Whatever, I might as well drop it before I say something really dumb...

I'm saying he sees them as childish, not that we should. And yes, I do see Super Smash Bros as a family game.

I really didn't mean to offend, but I don't rarely see girls getting into hardcore games like Quake, Crysis etc. Wii games are fun (too some) quick and easy.

You go girlfriend :v:
Anyway, The motion control thing is fun as a separate thing. I have many fun memories with Eye Toy, combined with injuries as well. They are fun to have but they are not what the main game community needs. Motion controls are fun as a side thing.
Wii [insert sport here] entertains for a while but i don't want to have to move my whole body when i want to kill someone in a spectacular way
Yathzee said it well when he said that controls that use smaller motions are more immersive and having to flail around does not flow well
It feels like i'm rabling. What was the question again, I think i got lost in the maize that is my mind

If you plan on replacing that with a newer machine, don't, just get a new graphics card and you're all set.
nearly 1000 euros. Just make sure you show off all the LEDs on that HAF in the photos and put emphasis the X-TREEM power of the i7. Make sure to multiply the clock speed by the thread count (obviously don't omit the actual clock speed and core count or you'll get fewer bites).
