Ha, I pity you, I have a solid block of hydrogen sitting on my CPU right now
Awesome, I should have enough to upgrade to a GTX 560 by the end of the week. I just need to decide if I should order it from NCIX or Newegg.ca.
A few of the 560s from NCIX are a good 10-15 cheaper then Newegg.

I said donations because I'm poor
I just upgraded my CPU cooler to go below absolute zero.
Time flows backwards around it.
[editline]9th August 2011[/editline]
Oh god that doesn't make sense in so many ways.
A few of the 560s from NCIX are a good 10-15 cheaper then Newegg.
NCIX doesn't seem to calculate sales tax, which brings it to about the same.

So your CPU is infinitely hot?
So your CPU is infinitely hot?

I think it just uses negative numbers to express something super hot, and if something were to theoretically get below absolute zero (I know it can't), it would not become super hot.
[editline]9th August 2011[/editline]
Fine
I upgraded my laws of physics to support lower temperatures as well.
one thing I never got about negative temperatures, is it hotter than absolute hot?
We're getting a second router for our new office because it's too far away from our current router. We're going to change the names of both to something matching. Suggestions for the SSID's?
The current one that my dad and I like are 'FBI Surveillance Van 26' and 'CIA Counter-Surveillance Van 31'

I made up that word myself, fuckbuster could be useful
one thing I never got about negative temperatures, is it hotter than absolute hot?
Yes. As far as science can tell, absolute hot is about 142 nonillion (142,678,571,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000) degrees kelvin (not even going to bother converting that to fahrenheit). If you put an object at absolute hot in contact with an object with negative heat, energy would flow from the negative-heat object to the absolute-hot object.
That number for absolute hot, by the way, is really REALLY fucking hot.
142,678,571,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000K - absolute hot
13,000,000,000,000,000,000K - temperature of nuclear collisions in the Large Hadron Collider
67,000,000,000,000K - temperature at the center of a hypernova
530,000,000K - max temperature inside the Tokamak Test Fusion Reactor
13,600,000K - the Sun
28,000K - record for a bolt of lightning on Earth
1300K - lava
326K - record temperature on Earth's surface
293K - room temperature
Is Tigerdirect as good a retailer as Newegg for purchasing computer parts?
Is Tigerdirect as good a retailer as Newegg for purchasing computer parts?
newegg usually has lower prices and when tigerdirect has the lower prices it ends up being a refurb and it's usually a really crappy refurb (case and point my mom's laptop which overheats when running goddamn quicken)

Agree or Optimistic?
Rainbows.
So a while back I bought a can of "electronics cleaner" which was basically isopropyl alcohol.
I've always been a bit of a pyromaniac, and when I today realized I have a 400ml can of very flammable liquid on my desk, things kinda took off.
I quit now when I sprayed a whole bunch in an empty 250ml energy drink bottle and helt a lighter in front of the opening. It singed the hair 1/3 the way to my elbow.
Lesson learned, putting the lighters in a far away place.
Cleaning out a relatives 11 year old computer running Windows 98, such fun.
Is using standard fuel system parts (fuel line, fuel pump) a bad idea for a watercooling setup? My cruddy old dell home server has a very bad tendency to overheat and I have a bunch of car parts lying around from various projects but I don't need an explosion of coolant all over my home server.
It doesnt matter if you dont have any watercooling blocks
Some kid from my school added me on Facebook since he saw my posts about computers. His profile picture is of him committing a crime.. I think ill pass.
