naah, He has the lightning edition with 3GB of VRAM, genius!
Minecraft somehow uses 800+ MB VRAM :psyduck:
After the summer it was rather hard to remember my school comp password. Turns out I'd been thinking of the Inquisition before I last changed it :v:
Minecraft somehow uses 800+ MB VRAM :psyduck:
That's because Notch can't write a renderer for shit. It renders everything in your FOV then covers up what needs to be covered up. So it's rendering all those blocks you're not seeing anyway.
Maybe it's also because of my 16x AA heuheuheu
But you've only got 3, SLI doesn't work like that.
I know how SLI works, I was poking at people who bought a 590 and thought they had 3GB of vram. I realize due to AFR I ONLY have 3gb usable. [editline]10th August 2011[/editline]
Maybe it's also because of my 16x AA heuheuheu
64x SLI AA master race.

No anti-aliasing laptop race
1xAA master race Minecraft looks like shit with high anti-aliasing on an ATI card
I mean what
since i use a 256x texture pack (get it http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/376784-16x-32x-64x-128x-256x-512x17-sphax-purebdcraft-v065-260711/ ), mine uses my WHOLE vram card activity jumps to 98% sometimes and the poor creature screams in pain its awesome
Eh. Half the feel of minecraft is it's psuedo-old 16x16 textures. 256 kinda kills it.
Eh. Half the feel of minecraft is it's psuedo-old 16x16 textures. 256 kinda kills it.
I never get the point of upping the textures when the models look like this It's just 6 cubes put together.
Yeah, it's also a combination of the models themselves. They're blocks. And it feels too...over detailed and just not quite right.
I have to say, I use Sphax at 128x too. It doesn't look the best in images, but it actually works amazingly well compared to all other 128s out there. (which look crap) My general rule is 16 or 32, though.
In my personal opinion. Who the fuck cares what Minecraft looks like? I have a custom texture pack that makes every object wire frame so I can rob people properly. Except not really. [editline]10th August 2011[/editline] Best defense against robbers in minecraft? Put 1000 chests in your house and put your shit in random ones.
128x FSAA Master race. (Not real time but I doubt 64x AA would be considered real time either)
128x FSAA would be super sampling right? I meant 64x SLI CSAA, which is real time on nearly everything because it only works on games that it barely makes a difference. [editline]10th August 2011[/editline]
Minecraft somehow uses 800+ MB VRAM :psyduck:
I hit 1700mb on my system while recording CinemaCraft 3. :v:

Well obviously it does, but I never saw an option for 128x FSAA in NCP or Inspector.

Is the drunk camera some kind of piracy prank Rockstar put in?
Is the drunk camera some kind of piracy prank Rockstar put in?
yeah I love calling people on my PC (for free) with google voice, thanks google <3
The drunken camera thing reminds me of the drug mission from San Andreas. You burned weed with a flamethrower and the camera would start to swing around. When i played that part i thought that the game had broke somehow and even went as far as to re install it.
Reminds me of Crysis DRM. Bullets are replaced with chickens.

(IIRC, it could be Vice City Stories)
I love developers when they do stuff like this.
Didn't ARMA have something which made you increasingly inaccurate and ineffectual as you played a pirated version?
Someone demonstrated a successful man-in-the-middle attack against 4G and CDMA at DEFCON. Well, there goes that.
Yes, also, you would also eventually turn into a seagull.
The PERFECT deterrant!
