You know what I find odd about this thread?
Half the posters here are foreign but speak perfect English, yet their screenshots of Windows or whatever is always in their native language.
On my laptop it's in danish since it's an OEM install, on my main it's in english. You know what I find odd about americans? Most of them don't speak a foreign language.
Okay, I admit it's not odd, since most films and such is in american.

There's not much of a need to, really. I haven't met one person who hasn't been able to speak English, even fractured English.

Go to Italy or something. Can be a major pain in the ass

You must not live in the city.
I think countries that don't speak English very well are kind of dumb.
Are shooter and me (Both got free macs) the only literate people using macs?
There is not much wrong with them, if you get them for free or really cheap.
I'm computer literate and I have a mac, I don't see why you care if I spent $1000 on my laptop if I wanted to. I used the education discount that helped though. Why would you care about how I spend my money? and if you get them for free how does that make you computer literate? Yes apple products are overpriced but why would you care what other people spend their money on?
You can use OS X if you want to, you can buy any computer you want to, no one is forcing you to buy a mac if you don't want one, so why do people keep hating on mac users for no apparent reason?

At the same time people with english as their native language doesn't expand their language horizon, really, and in the same way as italians, Germans and some other countries that doesn't speak english very well, be stuck either not watching or watching dubbed foreign films.
I'd rather watch a movie in English than in Swedish. Or the language it was filmed in.

*don't

On a serios note though, I hate how I'm forced to learn German in school. I mean, why? I don't need German, and I'm 90% sure I'll never need it. Even if I went to Germany, I would probably not need it that bad. Germans learn English in their schools, right?
Nope, it's doesn't.
And come on, german's a cool language.
Huh, but isn't it "don't" if we are talking about more than one person?
Don't sounds better imo but idk

Darn it, scoot! :argh:
Huh, but isn't it "don't" if we are talking about more than one person?
It's don't, I just generally think 'doesn't' sounds better. Anyway, Germans suck at english, and so do italians. I don't know about the french guys, though.
Yeah, but that's THEIR problem. I don't want to learn their languages just because they suck at English! :argh:
How?
And post pics?
I'd post pics but he's in Michigan right now, I'll be sure to take a few when he comes back.
It's ridiculous, how can you break a netbook's screen when closing it. There's a bunch of rubber pads to avoid that. He either punched it (again) or he fapped too violently.

Because Apple.
Germans learn English in their schools, right?
Haha. Don't count on that.
We're forced to learn English here, I'd say about 70% of people find it hard to get the passing grade (60%) when the exams are designed for tards.
Just look at my spelling/grammar
I got 99% (maximum grade, they don't allow triple digits in their systems :v:) in the written exam.
My meeeeeeerge

I've gone to france 2 times, both times almost noone spoke english except the people handling tourism. It was pretty hard buying a strawberry cake when my mother speaking english tried to talk to the cashier speaking french. But in the end we got the cake. Most of the discussion was about the price IIRC. But I belive the younger generation have good english since they use the internet more than their parents.
Because Apple.
This is what I am talking about. You can hate a company, whatever, but why hate on the users? As long as they aren't total idiots I don't see why you should hate someone for having a type of computer made by a company you don't like.
Because rabbid fanboy/girl tards.
English is so easy in my opinion.
When I went to Thailand, everybody spoke english. Or well, most of the people we saw.
Well, I have been living with english since I was 6 or so. Then my sister started learning english in school.
It kinda stuck with me. And the Internet has helped me a lot with english. Mostly runescape :v:
And then Yu Gi Yoh cards or whatever they were called.
I did not learn a lot of my english from TV.

My windows is in english.
I started a discussion on language. Yay :v:
Suddenly, page king. God damn it.
I saw an Asus laptop in the retail store today. I gained some faith in humanity.

There is nothing more infuriating then a Macrumours / Engadget commentor.

Are there any Homeworld 2 players around? I'm in the mood for a large multiplayer game one day :v:

I dunno, some of the Gizmodo bloggers are pretty infuriating. S'why I don't read Gizmodo anymore.

I've never read Gizmodo before, I will keep clear of it in future.
