Haha, oh wow:
IDE has a lovely connector, it never accidentaly comes out. The IDE cables however are an utter bastard to manage and work with. On the other hand. SATA has a god awful connector but the cables are amazing. [editline]17th August 2011[/editline] By his logic, SCSI FTW. [t]http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/sites/default/files/users/LKandO/68pin_drive_scsi_ribbon1.jpg[/t]
Pepper;31787073']What about rounded IDE cables?
I've tried them before, they are still pretty stiff and awkward to bend where you want them, but they take up a lot less room than the ribbon cable and as such I'm after some for my Duron rig. [editline]17th August 2011[/editline]
Pepper;31787073']What type of scsi it was i dont know
Just a male to male internal SCSI ribon as far as I know. I need a female to female to get a nice SCSI hard drive working in my dads rack mount yamaha sampler.
IDE has a lovely connector, it never comes out.
Fixed. I had to fight against 5 IDE cables in a 2005 Dell with the hinges damaged, I could barely fit my hand in there and I cut myself on the CPU cooler.
My dad just picked up a mid 1980's Panasonic chrome finished stereo for £10. It's replaced my old Cambridge A1 amplifier as it matches my graphic equilizers style and age. Not to mention it sounds orders of magnitude better, It sounds perfectly clear through a set of Wharfdale Diamonds where the cambridge sounded a bit muddy. Oh and the free laptop is working pefectly the bezel wasn't warped like the guy she took it to said, it just needed the clips pusing back in.

I hate working with IDE it's a pain in the ass.
Well, some people just are so stupid, sadly.
