Though it doesn't work when I wear socks. I'm trying to figure out a way to fix that.

Aren't they just trying to keep up with chrome on their version numbers?
They're trying to get rid of version numbers, they want change to be constant without these huge leaps, because with huge leaps, a bunch of users always lag behind at least one major version.
So, should I buy that 75$ 1440x900 screen?
I could use it as a third monitor :v:
Rate accordingly

Only buy it if you need it.
Only buy it if you need it.
With monitors you need as many as you can get. Or, at least, that's how I see it.

"need"
If I had room for a third monitor, I'd get a cheap one and have it running DEFCON 24/7 :v:

I made a comprehensive Windows Deployment Services guide for school.
It's 13 pages and it consists of screenshots showing the various next buttons and then text telling you to click the next button.
I thought firefox wasn't supposed to eat half a gig of RAM.
unused ram is wasted ram
and by the way firefox is using 178768k according to task manager, and that's with 4 active tabs three addons two greasemonkey scripts and a partridge in a pear tree
[editline]automerge edit[/editline]
and it's not like I'm in a low memory situation either, I have over six gigabytes free.

I just realized, if you had bots playing Darwinia, Uplink or Defcon by themselves, they would make the best screensavers
Alright, I'm gonna buy it...Hopefully I can borrow some monies from my mom, I only have like 20$ at the moment :saddowns:

if it was really that bad the correct thing to do would have been to thumbnail it

I'm pretty sure that means like posting a 90,000 x 90,000 image at 600 megabytes, the kind of thing actually capable of crashing a well designed browser (aka better designed than chrome)

Or you could just learn from what happened and take it as a similar size to that.
I find it funny when one of the tasks on my exam is "Justification of final solution"
:godwin:
So guys
Are there any decent Wireless N routers that I can put DD-WRT on with at least 3 ethernet ports on it that isn't $200?
Gigabit ethernet would be a nice plus but not really needed

I have one of these, not sure if it'll run DD-WRT though.

WiFi router plus gigabit switch master race

That phrase reminds me of the awful GCSE ICT course I had to do. Really, can't we just dump ICT and do computer studies like we used to back in the 1980's?
WiFi router plus gigabit switch master race
Might just be overall cheaper to do that :v:
That WRT160N doesn't sound half bad though, I'll read up on it..

only problem I've ever had with it is the power cord being a bitch and not working unless it's placed exactly right, but that's probably just mine
otherwise it does my 20mbit down 1.7 up connection perfectly fine both wireless and wired

Drill into your foot.
Anyone else get a 404 on the quick questions thread? Also, are an old PowerMac 8100, a G4 and a G3 Mac worth anything if they still have all of their peripherals?
