Although the patents are total bullshit I don't think they're doing this because they "can't compete". They seem to be doing fine.
They can definitely compete, but it's pretty clear that this is to stop Samsung selling the fastest selling (as far as I know, anyway) android handset, yet.
What major hardware and software innovations have Apple pulled in iPhone, and I mean real innovation not the bullshit stealing features from rejected app store apps.
That's not really what he said, we don't need another discussion about the colour of shit again.

The don't need to innovate though, remember that news story saying that Apple products create a religious experience in the buyers? They could just rely off that for 5 years without actually doing anything, not saying they do.

There are plenty of idiots around, and they will go and buy something because its an Apple product, no other reason.

The article is a bit off apparently, though, it's only the scrolling patent in the gallery that is "infringed", so Samsung can just update that and everything will be fine and dandy. At least according to a dutch person in the comments.
Come on, stop it already.

Apple have been picking at the Samsung Galaxy products for a while now, they will continually try to bully the shit out of the competitors until they get their way.

I'm actually afraid that the person who may replace Steve would be worse.

Impossible.

It's Apple, they apparently invent metals for their antennae and use magic to power their technology.
See Magic Mouse, Smart Cover, etc.
Magic Mouse
Methinks the spell they used on that product seriously backfired.
Methinks the spell they used on that product seriously backfired.
With snow leopard it is kinda useless but lion its a match made in heaven. I currently use a crummy Dynex that I got for $5 as my Mac mouse but ever since I installed lion keep finding myself switching to the touchpad to pull off the figure gestures. So as you could imagine the Magic Mouse is quite useful for someone like me who likes having a mouse and hates using the touchpad for navigation but loves using it for shortcuts. In fact I might just buy one today.
I think I'm fine with back/forward buttons and a DPI toggle switch on my mouse. and REAL buttons.

Commodore win the prize for the most satisfying click, though.

I think we found us a fanboy
I just knew someone would point that out sooner of later. First off I congratulate you for using the stonewall argument that I am a fanboy and thus anything I say is instantly marked off because someone can't think of a conter argument.
I rated it dumb because the "hurr macs are no right click" joke is at this point just beating a dead horse in an effort to score some points on apple when Macs have had right click for years now.

I wasn't taking the piss out of the single click, It was a pun "I can't put my finger on it"

Anyway, my 19" server rack has had to go, it took up too much space (and overhung the window).
But, something good has come of it, I've got some glass shelving in instead, so I did what I've been meaning to do for ages, give my old computers a better home.

I think I might retake that with my dad's DSLR.
The Kodak waterproof sports camera is brilliant out in the open, but utter shit in poor lighting.

done.
It read like you were implying "I can't put my finger on the right click"
Which it was, I believe, but it IS factual, since the Lisa doesn't have right click.
[editline]24th August 2011[/editline]
Guys, can you help me out? On a lot of installers, if the program requires something in System32 or WINDOWS, I get an access denied error, even though I'm admin and whatnot. What do?

What file?
What file?
It seems to be affecting dlls and ocx (I believe) files, but if I remember correctly the same thing happens for everything else.

But now that I can load and parse a profile... what do I do with it? :v:
Wait, I checked System32's properties and it's got a little black box in the checkbox for Read-only. Never really looked at that before, is it safe to untick, and is it likely to fix my issue?

That means some files are read-only, some are not. Just leave it alone.

Guess I'm slightly self-content now, then. :v:
