Atleast don't tell us about your weird number fetishes here.
Your ground shouldn't have anything to do with affecting your image quality unless there's something wrong with the screen?
The screens work utterly flawlessly when used at other houses.
The electricity is unstable around here, it goes out at the slightest hint of bad weather.
I can even hear noise on all the amplifiers in my house when there shouldn't be.

Then it would probably be a good investment.

It's just a netbook with a fancy keyboard and USB 3.0
How is that so revolutionizing?
Worse: an XP machine running as a host to a Vista VM running as a host to a Windows 7 VM.
WHAT HAVE I DONE.
I can beat that
For a class i was required, Required to run a virtual windows server 2008 and a virtual XP at the same time on a HP probook with 2 gb RAM
shit took
Ages
wow that's just a fucking embarrassment to PC gamers, the worse part is that it's actually slightly consolised in the way of it having shit specs and because of its form factor
It's just a netbook with a fancy keyboard
It's not revolutionary, but the keyboard is more than "fancy" imo. That's also cheaper than I expected.
I keep wanting to build a big NAS with like 4-5 3TB drives in Raid5, but it's so confusing. I'm told onboard RAID is terrible, but then people tell me hardware raid isn't worth it. I'm not sure what to do.
I want to move a lot of my inactive data to a relatively safe destination like my network, and then put like a 4 drive RAID0 in my system.
No, you do not own the game or its files, would you kindly get off your 'I am customer and king' pedestal?
Can you get off your "Everyone who is wrong is on a pedestal" pedestal?

Unless you need the NAS for work or mission-critical stuff, the onboard RAID will get the job done.

sir whoopsalot has always been a giant self opinionated dumbass, you're a tad late there
the computers in my Game Design class have 8 GB of RAM, but also have some shitty ATi integrated GPU

Onboard RAID usually runs off the CPU. If you're actually using the pc for other tasks this might have a impact on performance, but because its a NAS which is dedicated for that onboard will work fine.

Or maybe 200 firefox tabs of po....Pictures

It's not really mission critical, but I store unused project files and copies of all videos I have on youtube. I have a bandwidth cap so online backup isn't much of an option.

you're going to want to kill yourself after that class I guarantee
A LITTLE content from a teacher :
He somehow thinks LGA 775 is the latest tech from Intel, he also thinks AMD lives off making rip-off Intel processors
what the fuck
I guess the heat does that to you, AC doesn't work and it's 30°C+ in there...
Oh and pseudocode, FUCKING PSEUDOCODE. It's so god damn simple yet almost everyone in my class took 1 hour to write something that picks up a Celcius imput from the user and converts it to Farenheit (the teacher even gave the function you needed for it). They couldn't define the god damn variables...

Wait, you have a bandwidth cap?!
How the hell did you manage to pull off uploading that 1.2TB video?

Guys MSI is an awesome company and you should support them. I bought an OPEN BOX GTX 460 and I totally broke it 100% my fault (well they should have put on MOSFET heatsinks like reference designs >:( )and RMA'd it with a broken fan, and missing screws :v: and they are sending me a new one (or fixed, whatever) free.
[editline]25th August 2011[/editline]
actually they didn't really say anything, maybe they just sent it back broken? I hope not.
I need some help
I'm looking for a backlit keyboard for my laptop
Currently it has one of these
The laptop is a HP 6730S

If you were in high school (or whatever Canada's equivalent is) this would make sense.
my sixth grade tech class elective was alice
i basically made a decent game and then spent the rest of the time playing nethack on a flash drive i brought and alt tabbing back to alice when the teacher came by

I guess he's still living in 1995 (AMD's first original processor, the K5, came out in 96).
And they made LGA775 processors as late as 2009, so he's not completely out-of-date. Just tell him about LGA 1156, LGA 1155, LGA 1366, and LGA 2011.

I swear to god it crashed my computer so much I never successfully saved anything
