Mr T brings us some emergency content.
(He's trying to add Adobe's activation servers to his hosts file)

at least he doesn't wear turtlenecks
Wait, you have a bandwidth cap?!
How the hell did you manage to pull off uploading that 1.2TB video?
The footage I captured equaled 1.35 terabytes. The video I uploaded was like 150mb.
Code them in NQC? The ones I have are "coded" trough a program by Lego by dragging and dropping lego blocks representing functions.
That's the default way for programming them. NQC is coded in the Bricxcc. You can compile it there and send it to your NXT over usb or bluetooth. It doesn't even require custom firmware. (They do have firmware available for download which fixes bugs and adds custom functions)
This is made with NQC:

NQC has awesome support for images (ric files) which can take variables to move a slider for instance: http://ric.dreier-privat.de/Docu/index_eng.htm

well fuck.
People can do incredible things with Legos. Remember that robot that could always get a strike in Wii Sports? :v:

I made a robot that drives around and maps where it's been, and later can go back and avoid obstacles based on saved data :V

Do you also have this problem with the lets say phone cables and trying to fit them in when you create the tutorial robot? :v:

The one one the right is the tutorial robot which is supposed to have that shooter thing attachment (Seen in the right drawer) but i put a color sensor on it to follow a line for a demo. I just routed the cables under the robot itself. But yea, they can be a pain in the ass.

They look better with the sonar, robots need heads yo. Omg I only just now realised they look exactly like the robot from wall-e with the sonar.
So you heard? Razer is the new alienware!
Their pc gaming is not dead: a laptop for $2800 which runs a gaming customized windows 7, with a fucking intel atom :v:

it has a i7 in it, you're confusing the switchblade and the blade

It has an i7, a dual core and a turbo charged 3.5Ghz CPU processor. :v:

If it really ends up being $2,800 its nothing more then a MacBook Pro with a better graphics card, that funky game pad thing, no CD drive, and Windows 7.
I mean holy fuck it even looks like a MBP
Two things I'm gunna ask you folks for some advice about:
1: I'm currently running a ipv4 DHCP server on my home server which points at my modemrouter as a gateway. However, I'd quite like to put an ipv6 DHCP server up and assign local-only addresses just for the shits and giggles (and also so when the UK actually gets off its ass and starts assigning ipv6 addresses, I can just shove my gateway in and it's ready to go). What would be the best way of facilitating that?
2: I'm probably going to get this GPU within the week. Suggestions?
welp so the blade is a piece of shit
if the Switchblade isn't too expensive (Say, $500 or less) it might be a success
but knowing Razer + the fact that it has a multitouch screen and a keyboard with little OLED screens in it, it'll probably be >$800
The switchblade would be a pretty impressive little emulating machine, plus any games older than, say, Quake 3 Arena.
I had been 18 for like a week when I got out of high school
Yeah don't worry, I virtual-punched the guy who gave me this information.
Oh and some veeeeeeery little content from a dude who knows more about programming than I do but still makes mistakes, mistakes like using a floating point in situations where you only need an integer :v: (Not sure if I'm using the right terminology, translating this stuff is pretty annoying)
The whole department is making a CS tournament next week. Time to practice my bhopping skills :buddy:

What the shit is this:

With a little Adblock Plus magic, I managed to get rid of it.
I might be able to get work study at college in the IT department.
Controllers fall into a strange middleground where they offer less precision and control in things like FPS's than a mouse does, but also less in games like flight sims or racing games than a joystick/wheel would. It really is a case of jack of all trades master of none.
I only use a controller for emulators (because 90% of handheld/console games I CANNOT PLAY with a keyboard, ex: Kirby Superstar) and Spiral Knights
Works pretty well for Spiral Knights aside from having issues firing a gun in the right direction but practice makes perfect

Since fucking when did they do that?!
I think I'm dropping the whole big NAS idea due to bandwidth. I want to build a big external RAID box like the drobo, except not shitty.
I have no idea how I'd go about it. I'd like to have a dedicated RAID interface in the box so I have one eSATA into my system instead of the raid card in my system with like 6 Sata cables coming in. I was thinking of getting six 2TB drives and running a RAID6 for double secure 8TB storage. Or maybe, going with dour 2TB drives and doing RAID 1+0.
Anyone know of any ideas for how to do the interface setup?

It being The Onion, I suspect it may be a joke.
The past few pages talk of computing at schools reminded me of my old Programming teacher at 6th form, he trained as a violin player but porgressively lost his hearing until he was near deaf so had to retrain as a computing teacher, good teacher though knew what he was on about and taught in a fun way.

If you don't want the raid card in your computer, you'll either going to have to build a separate pc (Single core will do for that) to house the card, or going to have to go with such raid enclosures.
