Just double-check that Shooter hasn't been assimilated by Mac Wiz here like some kind of freakish, minimalist Borg. Who knows what that kid might have done.
Oh god, not the Apple collective.
We are the macfag, lower your standards and prepair to be assimilated.

I wouldn't mind having a mac, but wouldn't prefer it over Windows. They are pretty reliable and run smoothly. I would take one if it was given to me, or maybe buy it if it was really cheap, but never over a Windows computer.

Also, I'm taking a programming class in school, so content will ensue.
I've got to say, I hate Apple for their business practices and their hardware is overpriced, but damn do they know how to make an operating system.

Have fun with Java and Visual Basic...
My Visual Basic teacher doesn't like to be proven wrong. Expect to see me in here quite often.

We are doing Visual Basic, HTML (Note that this is "Computer Programming" class), and Alice. AP Java is next year.
I've heard a ton of bad things about Visual Basic and Alice, and having no experience with them, I'm just curious why you hate them.

You are kindly welcome here
As for me, Well, another Linux/ubuntu fuckup would be hilarious but i doubt that anyone in my class is that stupid
Then again this was the people that complained that the math had gotten harder since the 9'th grade
I'm now grounded because I changed questions on an assignment to, 1) make sense 2) use proper terms. Needless to say I got an F.
my teachers are competent. I guess it comes with the networking course.

Which questions and terms?

Your own fault. If you have issues with an assignment, bring it up with your teacher, tutor, or head. Just changing the questions makes you look like a dick, no matter how stupid the wording may be.

Yes, their oversized and wasteful UI is just magnificent. I mean all I ever wanted was a giant freaking dock with holes at the side so my windows don't make use of my screen as efficiently as possible.

Let's not start a Windows vs. MacOS argument here...

Sorry about that, but my 19 year old Amiga can still manage to pull off an efficient UI.

We should probably stop before someone gets hurt.
(and yeah I know I'm on 2.6.39, it's because I haven't got ksplice going yet (it's ready to go) and also because I am too lazy to resolve the dependencies required
I just updated today from 3.1-rc1 on my vm, using 3.0.4 on my laptop though, also updated today.
I've been in a compiling sort of mood
AmigaOS 2 or 3? :v:
3 of course, will post screenshots tommorow :v:
I'm on the first release of 3.0 (not RC) still, I plan to upgrade to 3.1 when it's out.
Actually, I think I'll upgrade to 3.0.4 now.
>not using kernel 3.1-rc4
