Question to the other Dutch people in this thread:
Where do you buy the parts when you're building a PC?
My mom doesn't understand internet usage. As long as my PC is on, and connected to the internet, it's going to fucking use the internet. P.S. I'm sneaking on while she's in the shower.
Ugh, which one is the newest?
The 5th one, aka: FUCK PHYSICS LET'S DRAG A 20 TON SAFE AT 80KM/H WITH SPORTS CARS

Well, That didn't bother me too much, But when they used a 20 ton safe and a pendulum and a 0.7 tom car was not affected in any way
FUCK YOU NEWTON
Don't forget the lovely thing of how a steel cable can somehow cut through meter thick concrete pillars

They also managed to slide it into a truck, and then magically have another one slide out? :v:
I was in the mood to fiddle around in linux, but before setting up another dual-boot system, I was going to see my Arch VM first. I was trying to install archey but it doesn't want me to.

Oh wow, I didn't even know they made a fifth one, who the fuck keeps giving funding to shitty movies?

Common issue when you have yaourt installed. Uninstall package-query (while ignoring the upgrade-first) and all dependencies, then upgrade pacman, then install package-query.

I've finaly taught my amiga how to JPG!

640x256 is the highest resolution the thing can actually put out. It looks lovely on it's phillips monitor, but not so much on a 1080p display.

YOU CANNOT GRASP THE TRUE FORM OF RISCOS 3
Acorn Archemedes, christ I used to love using those back in nursery.
[editline]30th August 2011[/editline]
But.... can your Archemedes play DOOM?
(it's the 'can it play Crysis' of the 1990's)
"Linux and mac uses the AGP graphics technology and uses ram in a different way than windows"
Isn't GTA IV more resource intensive than Crysis? :v:
Isn't GTA IV more resource intensive than Crysis? :v:
Only due to the shitty port, I mean come on, the crapcan that is Xbox360 can still run it.
I've only just played Crysis properly last week even though I bought it 2 years ago...

I think they must mean openGL.
Have any of you guys seen the newest Fast and the Furious movie?
When they pulled a "tracking device" out of one of the cars, it was literally a stick of laptop RAM with wires duct taped on
I wonder what their prop budget was :v:
Yes, in a way. But Crysis used your resources much better.
I can run GTA maxed out with only like 40fps on my two 580's
:v

My JUNIOR school was using Acorn A7000's until 2007, when they phased them out with, get this, Windows 2000
I managed to get my own A7000 in 2006 when they were starting to move them over to thin clients:

Apart from a bad !boot and the fact I can't get admin rights on it, it works great.
Question to the other Dutch people in this thread:

Bought some from alternate, though they are more expensive.
I just discovered that the laptop I fixed will lock up if you press too hard on some areas of the keyboard... The casing is probably shorting something out, so I need to take the bastard apart again.
Very nice, I can't wait to pick up an Amiga A3000 or A2000, so I can get some proper expansion cards in, Ethernet, co-processor and a replacement sound card etc.
