how to handle CIPWTTKT: As a group, we were told to go out of class to work on a group assignment - we had 30 minutes, but our group finished in 10. So we decided to just kill 15-20 minutes of time because we could. Some of us pull out our cell phones, including me. This one guy at the opposite end of the table says this to me, "I'm going to go play games on my IPHONE because it's BETTER than that lagging piece of shit android," and he practically yelled what I put in caps. Naturally everyone looked at me for a response to what was clearly him picking some sort of fight. I simply replied "Well that's like, your opinion, man" in the most The Dude Lebowsky way I could. He backed off and things went back to normal.
YOU'RE OUT OF YOUR ELEMENT!
that movie had the weirdest plot out of any movie i can recall.
It's suprisingly easy to do. (either that or I'm useless when it comes to using it)
What the fuck. In my 10 or so years using Linux the only Kernel panic I EVER had was in a VM that wasn't set up properly. I don't understand how people can get a Kernel panic. Just sticking it in under WinXP caused it to instantly BSOD. OS X locked up when I tried it on a school Mac. But my BSD laptop kept working when I mounted it. I could somehow only copy the file structure - everything read as 0-byte files. It did kernel-panic when I went to shut it down, since it had hardware problems trying to write to it during the umount phase.

Our school has internet filter software installed on our Macbooks that cause a kernal panic nearly every hour.

someone I know on their hackintosh unplugged their headphones and it kernel panicked :v:
XP is ancient and Vista is garbage. So you both have the same need level for Win7. FIGHT TO THE DEATH.
Vista isn't garbage, the OEM's weren't ready for it and got fucked by it. It was the prebuilds that got fucked over and all the launch problems were fixed with updates.
:colbert:
Ha! A couple of weeks ago I installed Ubuntu on my laptop. Unfortunately, it seems Unity was such a piece of shit that it used 100% of the CPU all the time, despite my Radeon 3200 being fully supported. It wouldn't even play 720p video without crapping itself, where Windows 7 works great. I installed Mint and it seems a bit better, though my Windows partition is staying for good.
That and some of the people who upgraded to Vista were using shit hardware, and blamed the slowness on Vista.
Identical hardware (in fact the exact same computer) runs Win7 better than Vista on my end. [editline]2nd September 2011[/editline] Yes, this includes all valid service packs.

I'm really just curious since he has no posts or info... :v:
LinuX's maneurisms, he has recently gotten into photography, he created that account the day he got an SLR, he turned off Visitor messages after me, dr deeps and shroom left messages saying stuff like "Hey linux!", he dumb'd me for bashing his favourite shitty Linux distro and it just screams LinuX. [editline]3rd September 2011[/editline] Oh and all that + stalking H&S, he doesn't seem to realize that if he's going to get caught H&S is the place it's most likely gonna happen, because we're all looking out for him now. [editline]3rd September 2011[/editline] He just screams LinuX. [editline]3rd September 2011[/editline] Oh, so now he re-enables them. This is just supporting my case.
