If I'm uploading a 20 minute ideo to Youtube, what's the best format to use in Vegas if I want to get decent quality without making a 2 gig file?
You're best bet is using some sort of mp4/h.264 codec. Unfortunatly the ones in sony vegas aren't very good.
can anyone explain the thread title to me please?

Self-content probably, but if I were to upgrade from my HD5450 to a HD6770 would I need to reinstall my drivers?
Slight, possible content: http://www.window95.com/

Grab the slow as hell Emulator from the Android developer site, I played with that for months before getting my first Android Phone.
Here we go.

Somewhat content: I overheard someone at school saying their facebook was "hacked".
I hate the word "hacking" being thrown around by people like that, it's not "hacking", it's leaving your facebook account logged in in a public place.

"The hacking community developed at MIT and some other universities in the 1960s and 1970s. Hacking included a wide range of activities, from writing software, to practical jokes, to exploring the roofs and tunnels of the MIT campus. Other activities, performed far from MIT and far from computers, also fit hackers' idea of what hacking means: for instance, I think the controversial 1950s "musical piece" by John Cage, 4'33", which has no notes, is more of a hack than a musical composition. The palindromic three-part piece written by Guillaume de Machaut in the 1300s, "Ma Fin Est Mon Commencement", was also a good hack, even better because it also sounds good. Puck appreciated hack value.
...
Hackers typically had little respect for the silly rules that administrators like to impose, so they looked for ways around. For instance, when computers at MIT started to have "security" (that is, restrictions on what users could do), some hackers found clever ways to bypass the security, partly so they could use the computers freely, and partly just for the sake of cleverness (hacking does not need to be useful). However, only some hackers did this—many were occupied with other kinds of cleverness, such as placing some amusing object on top of MIT's great dome (**), finding a way to do a certain computation with only 5 instructions when the shortest known program required 6, writing a program to print numbers in roman numerals, or writing a program to understand questions in English.
...
Yet when I say I am a hacker, people often think I am making a naughty admission, presenting myself specifically as a security breaker. How did this confusion develop?
Around 1980, when the news media took notice of hackers, they fixated on one narrow aspect of real hacking: the security breaking which some hackers occasionally did. They ignored all the rest of hacking, and took the term to mean breaking security, no more and no less. The media have since spread that definition, disregarding our attempts to correct them. As a result, most people have a mistaken idea of what we hackers actually do and what we think.
You can help correct the misunderstanding simply by making a distinction between security breaking and hacking—by using the term "cracking" for security breaking. The people who do it are "crackers" (***). Some of them may also be hackers, just as some of them may be chess players or golfers; most of them are not."

Just modded my XBOX 360 controller.
It now has PlayStation 2 analog sticks and a clickier D-Pad.
Far awesomer than those ricer mods with a clear case and 50 blue LEDs. :buddy:

I'm taking "INTRO TO COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY & PROGRAMMING CONCEPTS" this year in college.
I don't know the first thing about programming so I'll actually learn things from it. I'll be sure to be on the lookout for content, though.
it wouldn't hurt it as long as it's not powered on I still wouldn't suggest it though
Then again, that's kind of the point behind electronics, you sort of have to turn them on or they're not really all that good.

just got this email
Just in time for the first week of September, here are your beginning assignments:
1. STUDY Chapter 1 of the textbook.
2. Check out the links posted under the LINKS section. There is a link for NIST and SANS. You will need to use information on both these sites to complete the following assignment:
Find 2 different Acceptable Use policies on the web. I suggest using your favorite search engine. Examples might be various businesses like ATT, IBM, Ford Motor Company, your local library, a school, etc.
Compare these 2 policies for similarities and differences.
Then compare them to a standard template for Acceptable Use Policy found on the SANS site given in the Links section.
Do the policies you found have all the similar attributes as the template? Do the policies have additional parts? Do the policies omit anything that was suggested in the template? What did you find interesting or noteworthy about the policies you found?
Write up your findings. Be sure to include the URLs of the 2 policies you found and describe them and the organization in your paper.
Save your findings as a WORD doc and upload to the Dropbox.
This assignment is due NLT than September 8th at midnight.
this assignment sucks, I don't have word :v:
but they don't have to be on all the time. once it dries it will be safe to turn on
Rinse with distilled water to remove all soap, just for safety.
You don't need Word to save a document as a .doc format.
