The power supply is actually cheaper, graphics card not :v:
Thanks, getting the power supply for sure. Any other card recommendations?
You could try a 460 or something, but it will probably be more expensive.
Price isn't really a problem at the moment. I just need something that performs well and doesn't get bottlenecked by the rest of the system.

Well, getting a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 460.
this thread is a content goldmine:
Cheap method:
Buy a tad more ram, maybe 8GB as opposed to 4GB.
Overclock your GPU and CPU.
Futureproof method:
Buy more ram as before.
Replace your processor with an entry level quad core processor that you can overclock the shite out of (Like a Phenom II x4)
Compare some graphics cards and see what's best for your budget.
Omg y liek Phenom II are best overclockers and 8gb ram gives you like super performance increase!
Running a 64bit OS on 4GB isn't as beneficial as running a 32bit OS on 3.5GB.
What is this i don't even..
If i was you, I would overclock your CPU and GPU and wait for 32nm because they are right around the corner and should see a large increase in performance. Not to mention with Bulldozer coming out there might actually be some competition in the high-end CPU market which will in turn get you better value for money
Wait what, sandybridge is 32nm?

OSX is retarted.
On windows you can install updates/progams and then you're told you should restart now. Or do it later when you want.
On OSX you get asked it before the installation, start installation and reboot right away or don't install anything.

The buttons read:
(Disabled) go back
Reboot.
The close button is also greyed out.
NOTICE THE LACK OF REBOOT LATER BUTTON

Im running 10.6.7 (And i'm not planning on buying Lion)
Anyways, im photographing (Scanner wasn't big enough, so i'm using my SLR and a tripod) all of my school books and digitalizing them so i only need to carry my macbook to school instead of all books :v:

If I ever get enough money together for the godlike Asus transformer, I will do the same.
That sure is a nice netbook :v:
My Nikon D3100 (The one im using) makes really sharp photos, i can read everything to see the cheaply printed graphics in books :v:
[editline]7th September 2011[/editline]
Right now my photo's are JPEG's of about 5MB each (4288x2848). What would be a better way to store them and still have the pages readable?
Lower res, something like 3k.
Can't remember exactly what it was. I do all my pictures of documents n such with my Olympus E400. Res is the biggest it can handle, what is something like 3k. x ?k.
It disturbs me how very many girls get DSLR's and takes crappy angled photos of themselves in auto mode with them :v:
Would this be a good build to sell for £250 on ebay?

Firefox 6.0.2 bugging the fuck out.
Natural decision? Switch to beta channel.
Waiting to see if the same shit happens with beta.
Get an SSD for your desktop instead
I don't suppose there is any other way to make my laptop boot faster, it doesn't start any software on boot aswell, no services are enabled.

Just getting a 7200rpm drive will increase boot times, but i doubt the laptop has SATA3 so not much SSD's will really profit.
I hope you mean decrease :v:
