Today I had my first programming class and it was awesome. The teacher is 65 and was talking about how he had a hard disk drive in 1973 with his employer that held 185 kb of memory and was the size of a fucking car engine. He's written several science fiction books also. This guy is a total badass. I also got invited to join the robotics club!

Befriend this man. It will help you grades and he sounds like an awesome guy
Also, I swear to god flash drives are sentient. Everytime i actually need them they are nowhere to be found. But the second i don't need them anymore, they are right there on the desk
Edit: Never mind, Turned out that my sister had taken it and filled it with virus riddled pirated tv shows. sigh

Nah, it's impossible to lose THIS flash drive, it's so frigging huge.
And cheap too, £5, and it came with the latest (terrible) Star Trek film on it.
I hope you mean decrease :v:
Yea :v:
I just realized, one of them invisiblity cloaks would be totally stupid.
They work by bending the light around you (well they don't work, right now, but that's the theory).
Well think about how you see things right now.
Light hits eyes, shit happens, signal to brains, interpret, fix up, done.
Well if the light is going around you, it never hits your eye, so you can't see anything.

What if it stops light leaving a field around you?
What if it stops light leaving a field around you?
Wouldn't you appear as a black hole then?
Oh GOD THE WHOLE CONCEPT SUCKS!
What if its like Crysis instead, where it creates a holographic illusion?
Oh GOD THE WHOLE CONCEPT SUCKS!

Why not a half reflective kinda medium? One that you can see through, but light will still go around it.
then people would see a void in your form walking around, a place where no light comes from means total blackness.

:ninja:
You would look totally badass as a void though...
Well, you wouldn't look badass - the lack of a look would. Oh fuck, how do I convey the message.
Second day in my IED class and the teacher starting talking innovation, then he went with out apple supposedly had the first touchscreen phone and every other smartphone was based off of it.
And I spilled milk on my keyboard and it works fine!
I spilled chocolate milk in my Apple keyboard

That empty space was then filled with it :v:
I just poured water through it until all the chocolate milk was gone and then I dried it.
It is awful using a dumbphone after having Android for so long, you lose a great media player and a portable web browser.
This, and I lost my GPS, all my photos since it was my primary camera, the ability to play Pokemon Sapphire on the go again because my original copy broke, lost the ability to text or use web services at all since the original plan for the Xenon was put to the minimal of calls only after getting the new phone, and one of my only sources of entertainment when the power goes out or when I'm on a road trip.
Also I can't really live without a cell phone, because I'm starting to be away from my parents more often and they like it when I can call them/they can call me if there's an emergency. & the fact that I need a proper mobile alarm, my watch keeps going 5 minutes ahead and the alarm is extremely quiet.
And no, we don't have a home phone anymore. Cost too much and no one ever calls anyways besides telemarketers.
I started school yesterday. During web design class I was a bit bored during the teacher's "Don't do stupid shit" speech that every teacher makes, so I skimmed through the textbook for the class.
It listed Netscape Navigator and Internet Explorer 6 as the most popular and powerful web browsers used today and made mention of a few newly released internet browsers, such as Opera, Firefox and Safari.

I lost two flash drives, both which were holding my server backups (Cron job backups daily to them and deletes backups more than 31 days old).
The problem is the servers are in the closet and i either suspect my sister of stealing them for other purposes or im sleepwalking :v:
Firefox 7 (current beta) working better than Firefox 6.0.2 (latest stable) for me.
Mozilla, the stable version is supposed to work the best.
I've been on the beta for a while now, it's working perfectly, not one major crash.
I've been on 9 (nightly) for quite a while now and haven't had any issues except where flash wants to use my webcam

I was under the impression that this was common knowledge.
Atleast phase shifting cloaks still make sense, partialy shift yourself out our Universe.

Don't ask how that works, it's probably something to do with the Main Deflector dish, that solves ever problem that has every existed in Star Trek.
Never mind that, Fixed it
Jesus christ. Flak and Scoot: THIS IS NOT YOUR GOD DAMNED BLOGS. FUCK.

Ah thanks :D
It's the only one on Ebay as far as I can tell.
Still you should be able to buy it and pay for postage for under £10? Surely?
