What's a good music player for Windows that supports ALAC and has automatic checking for new songs added to the library?
What's a good music player for Windows that supports ALAC and has automatic checking for new songs added to the library?
Foobar2000 should work. I did a quick search and found this
I'm a Mac user. We're all not retard like you think stop with the stereotype, but yeah I'll admit a ton of Mac users are very very retarded (90% of them are on Mac Rumors). I've used Macs all my life up until three years ago but I will always own at least one Mac since I have the money to have one and I am much more familiar with them. There is no difference between Macs and PCs except for the OS. Hate on the OS, not the hardware or the users.
honestly i'll hate on the users all i want so long as the user in question is an obnoxious twat [editline]13th September 2011[/editline] not you, i mean in general
content: http://www.locus-design.com/index.php/cynosure-usb-cable 3ft of this cable costs 3549$!!!
Obvious troll. Misspellings ("sould"), grammar errors ("All Cynosure's"), casual language ("how many=proprietary") indicate a lack of proofreading. Anyone actually trying to sell to the audiophile market would take extreme care with the presentation. Since, you know, that's all they have. They claim to have won the "Accessories Excellence Award 2011" in "Japan". Googling that phrase brings up... their site, a forum run by them, and nothing else. A search for "Accessories Excellence Award 2010" produced nothing - the award is fake. Most importantly, though, the site is extremely lacking in one specific area - there is no place to actually BUY the cables.
Hate on the users, not the hardware or the OS.
Fixed. No offense to the rare exception out there, but almost all of them are gibbering retards with God complexes.
I just found out that all of my school's computers have generic Administrator accounts with no password. Just to test it out, a friend of mine deleted all of a classmate's files. Also, I'm keeping a file called grievances.txt in my Dropbox account. It has every particularly stupid thing my programming teacher has said/typed as of today (I tried everything stupid, but I literally couldn't type fast enough to keep up). Here is the list so far:
1) cmd.exe is a "DOS Prompt" 2) Windows 7 is DOS 3) DOS stands for "Data Operating System" 4) lblLabel1

Fixed. My mom is planning on buying a Mac Pro, like one of those $2000 desktops. Her reasons are because if she gets a mac, I won't use it, and if I don't use it, I won't "crash" it. :suicide:

If it was the 15" MBP or 21.5" iMac I would say she is pushing it a bit and is better off with one of the first 3. Now on the Subject on the 17" MBP, 27" iMac, or Mac Pro, unless she is doing heavy video/sound/picture editing or running a big time server she is making a massive mistake. Seriously if she is hell bent on getting a Mac an Air, Mini, or 13" MBP is all most users would need.

I'm trying to convince her to get something else, but shes adamant on it, she went for a walk, I'll talk to her when she gets back.

"Accidentally" mention that you aim to put a Linux partition on it, and other technical things that she won't understand but won't like the sound of. Also "praise" her for picking the high-end one, since the low-end ones like the iMac are useless for anything "cool".
Fixed. No offense to the rare exception out there, but almost all of them are gibbering retards with God complexes.
I know a lot of idiots who use PCs and a lot of idiots who use mac, I dont understand why people seem to hate on mac users more though
She wants to spend $2600 on a 5770, 3GB of DDR3 ram, and a Xeon ( WHICH SHE DOES NOT FUCKING NEED), My fucking god.
and a lot of idiots who use mac
I only know a couple. Ba-dum-dish. (But really, I only know 2 people in my city that actually own a Mac)
She wants to spend $2600 on a 5770, 3GB of DDR3 ram, and a Xeon ( WHICH SHE DOES NOT FUCKING NEED), My fucking god.
Look on the bright side: Steam for Mac. I'm pretty sure that rig would max out every game that would run. Plus, sneak some Bitcoin software on it, set it to mine overnight. Profit.
What is Bitcoin exactly? I've seen the name a few times but never knew.
i think 1-3rd graders shouldn't have to be burdened with that, they're too young.
I started learning French when I was 6. I utterly loved it back then. Now I just hate it because of the quarterly exams.
I know a lot of idiots who use PCs and a lot of idiots who use mac, I dont understand why people seem to hate on mac users more though
Because the idiot Mac users tend to shove the cult of [del]Jobs[/del] Whatever-The-New-Guy's-Name-Is down everyone's throat. Which according to the handful of exceptions I know, doesn't happen to them coming from non-Mac users. I'm sure there's someone somewhere who forces Windows down everyone's throat, and then of course you have Richard Stallman, but it just seems to happen way less. [editline]13th September 2011[/editline]
1) cmd.exe is a "DOS Prompt"
Not too far off actually - it's the commandline for Windows, and it behaves like DOS did.
2) Windows 7 is DOS
Win9x used to be DOS-based, so that might be where she's getting it from. She's still wrong, though (NT-based)
3) DOS stands for "Data Operating System"
Disk Operating System, Data Operating System, same shit
4) lblLabel1
I think you forgot to localize a string there [editline]13th September 2011[/editline] don't know why I'm assuming your teacher's a woman but whatever

It's not even a small room, everything is spaced out and there is wasted desk space, they could easily get the 23 iMacs in the room. (if they could afford it, hurr hurr)
oh my god. I've been using win 8 dev preview in Virtualbox for a bit now. Holy shit what is this tripe, I'm not using a fucking phone. I'm on a fucking desktop. [editline]14th September 2011[/editline] In conclusion. Windows is now a mobile OS. [editline]14th September 2011[/editline] Who fucking thought it was a good idea to make everything square and replace the start menu with the fucking metro UI?!
