Basically.
I still asked you to buy me a 590 :v:
Heh, me and wingless were talking on steam, about me getting my 570 today, and he was planning on upgrading to a 6970, then he decided on a 570. Then he wondered if he couldn't get xmas money early to get a 580, then we were both jelly of you, and then he wondered if i could lend him some money so he could buy a 590 :v:

Do you have the FPS limiter on? I always see if you don't you get 3000fps in menu etc and that causes cards to run very hot.
That's an idea, would I just force Vsync on in the nvidia control panel?
That's an idea, would I just force Vsync on in the nvidia control panel?
Try that and the ingame settings. Also have fraps running to see your fps in the main menu etc.
Also guys, when you quote/post content from other sites, please link to them, they might hold even more content (if you've checked and they don't, link them anyway please?)
Better for us.
Fuck can I be unbanned from the steam chat now?
I'll even admit that Skyrim doesn't look like total shit.

Oh, okay then :toot:
I thought my PC had hardware virtualisation since I had a Core 2 Quad.
Tried using a x64 iso of Windows 8.
Turns out it doesn't. :saddowns:

Check your BIOS, it might be disabled.

That BSOD when Bill Gates tries to automaticaly install drivers for a printer on windows 98 has to be the funniest fuckup yet.

I actually looked up the processor I have on the Intel website, which said it didn't.
Am I the only person whose Computer Programming teacher isn't a complete idiot? We're doing visual basic (yaayy), and our teacher is an older lady who actually knows a ton of programming languages (QBasic, C++, Java, VB, other stuff) and other general computer stuff, and she seems to manage the class nicely.
When I was in school I had a programming class. My teacher knew quite a bit of programming, was fluent in C, C++, Java, and so on..
Is anyone else like me?
I start up Metro 2033, about to play it for the first time
Main menu makes my graphics card's fan get loud as all hell
I get paranoid and close the game
I have a thing where I think that noise = bad and it's going to damage my card somehow :saddowns:
[editline]17th September 2011[/editline]
It's also the reason I never play Crysis
I have a massive fan in my room that sounds like a jet turbine so I always crank my comp fans to max because you can never hear them over the fan. That being said having noise cancelling headphones also helps to block out the sound of that 747 in my room.

Just thought of using my laptop.
I looked up the processor model.
It's supported.
FUCK YEAAAA-UH!
Asus WTF!
Their mobo quickstart guide comes in 14 languages, but not english or dutch :v:
(I mean no english, come on!)
I just officially quit WoW. Trying to sell my account now.
Everyone quits, and then they come back.
It took me about 4 months, we'll see how long it takes you to come back.
I have the say, the game is a bit more fun when you've taken a long break.

Redirect all WoW IPs in hosts file
Block IPs from router
Mark the .exe and installer as viruses
Perfect way to quit :v:

I got hacked, vowed that I would never play again.
The next day I bought the battle chest and started a new account.

Unless you reinstall your OS or get a new PC.

Anyone smart enough to do those is smart enough to disable those when they want to play.
i'm not much of a wow person anyway, my dad and i play duo in everquest 2 though
Anyone smart enough to do those is smart enough to disable those when they want to play.
If you put enough restrictions on, by the time you've removed them all you won't feel like WoW anymore
It would be useful if you want to protect someone from the addiction of World of Warcraft.
Or you can just use willpower
Then again, from what i heard WoW is basically digital Cocain

Or don't be such a sad bastard that you actually have to do that in order to quit WoW?
When I played the WoW trial, I found it extremely boring. Never played it again. :v:

The best solution is to never start.
