So the LHC measured particles going faster than light. Do you think einstein was wrong?
Which is better?
Using all 64GB of my SSD
Using 40GB for Win 7 and 20GB for caching
Or all 64Gb for caching

They say it's best to use 40gb for windows and the rest for caching, but i always wonder if that doesn't slow the windows partition down too. Myself i just went with 100% C: drive and no caching, because my spinpoint f3 is fast enough for games etc.
My new OCZ Agility 3 60GB arrived today! Can't wait to installl da sheet.
I got the exact same SSD 2 days ago for when I buy my laptop, it doesn't work in my desktop so my mum has an SSD

That's what i'm getting now with caching on with my Crucial M4 64Gb and WD Black 500GB
ASRock makes budget boards, get something like the P8Z68-V Pro. I thought your budget was 1k ish?
I know that most of AsRock's boards could be considered budget, but the Professional Gen 3 isn't at all. My budget is about $1900-ish, by the way.
Seems like all the older HDD's i had lying around are broken just enough for me not to be able to use them
All i wanted was to use an old small case and build an ubuntu pc for my tv
Not really CIPWTTKT stuff, but Animation Illiterate Me who ends up with Awkward Animations:
So I took out the second 6870 since it was being loud as hell while idling and in games.
With crossfire and everything maxed out.

I didn't realize it's be such an improvement with crossfire, hopefully that new card comes Saturday, the one I have now it just annoying and loud.
What benchmark is that?
This summer, I'm going to be doing an internship where all we do is set up networks, and re-image computers around my town. It'll be quite useful as it'll look nice on my college applications and I'll be able to use it as prior experience if I want to get in some of the other private and public IT internships around my district. Here's the cool thing also, it pays $9.00 an hour.
Shit is going to be so cash.
Also, hopefully there will be lots of content spewing from the orifices of the staff of this program so you CIPWTTKT'ers will remain entertained.
Some of you may vaguely remember from quite a few pages back I have a shitty game design class where I have to do a report on how video game violence causes our children to become rapists and murderers and baby rapist murderers etc.
Now what I ask of you
Everybody please help me find a shitload of sources about how video game violence is bullshit
http://gamestudies.org/ might be a good place - I used it for a presentation on "How Video Games are Art", but it's a general games publication.

Did you hook it up to the SATA3 Ports?
Did you hook it up to the SATA3 Ports?
Actually I'm running on SATA2 since I don't have SATA3, but even so the r/w speeds should be much higher... I'm benching my laptop and my RAID volume for comparison, and it makes me one sad panda.

Remember when I said I put a laptop back to together but there were no screws left?
Well it turns out I forgot a magnet, a neodymium one
and it turns out neodymium magnets are very powerful and DO stick to braces :v:
why was there a neodymium magnet in a laptop?
why was there a neodymium magnet in a laptop?
Holding the 2 panels together when the laptop is closed
I don't really care if it's missing, I'm having too much fun trying to get stuff to levitate over a 4" speaker magnet :v:
why was there a neodymium magnet in a laptop?
Sorry. That's mine.
Why is there only 4 people in chat? Lowest I've seen in a while :v:
why was there a neodymium magnet in a laptop?
They can be used for both a "Latch" to keep the palmrest and the lid together when closed and/or to detect when the lid is closed to automatically turn off the LCD and go into sleep mode.
