My power is out, and internet has been out for a few hours, too.

today, the power plug wasn't functioning where my teacher had his pc plugged in, and some dumbass said "that's why the whole school should upgrade to macbooks because those don't crash as much" it didnt even fucking crash
waiting for domain stuff to propagate sucks
I have a third replacement on the way. Part of me wants to wait to try and run 3 monitors just for like an hour. But I don't want to be charged, so I'm going to ship the other monitor back tomorrow. I talked with Dell via EMAIL and while there is a delay they ARE ACTUALLY FUCKING USEFUL. They aren't robots, I put down my concerns and problems and he setup a replacement and got me the tracking and shipping info for the other monitor. Though I got confused about packaging since I packed it in the original box, but in the email he said to put it in the replacement's box. I would think that would really confuse them. To be honest, I was very surprised how on the ball Email support is. The phone guys are a joke. "HELLO MAI NEM IS JOO IM FROM YOU NITED STETS"
I think defraggler screwed up a tiny bit..... [img]http://localhostr.com/files/xLUYHe4/oops.png[/img]

My replacement card is going to arrive tomorrow. That was some fast shipping.
Guys, i'm just going to ask again. I have a Realtek ACL892 (7.1) support. I've hooked up my 5.1 speaker set in the proper way. When im doing the sound test in the software (click speaker sound plays from it) the center speaker doesn't make any sound. The speaker itself isnt broken because hooking it up to another output makes it work fine (But as left speaker instead of center). ???? [editline]23rd September 2011[/editline] Also very annoying, because games use the center speaker for speech etc.
I found my EL Wire :buddy:

[QUOTE=Fatal-Error;32437844]You don't think the center jack is broken, do you?[/QUOTE] I don't think so, the center and sub are on the jack and the subwoofer is working fine.. [editline]23rd September 2011[/editline] Let me just plug some different speakers into the same jack, if they don't work its the jack.. [editline]23rd September 2011[/editline] Plugging different speakers into the orange jack makes them both work. My guess is that some circuitry broke inside my sub :C Good thing the drivers have support to have center channel sound on L+R speakers, i'll guess i'll use that until i get this fixed
My god Office for Mac is a cluster fuck, the ribbon is awkward and I have a 1 second input lag on what I type :suicide: [editline]23rd September 2011[/editline] Why is everything flickering whilest I type?

I hope it's just an attempt by Microsoft to make the user experience crap and make the user consider getting a windows PC, because this is really awful. It's either that or their OSX Developers are incompetent.

It's revenge for Apples' shitty windows ports

From one of Nvidia's reports [img]http://i.imgur.com/N1RAP.jpg[/img] It's funny because it's just so obviously true :v:
[QUOTE=Goz3rr;32438923]It's working fine for me..[/QUOTE] Lucky, it's running like arse on this computer. [editline]23rd September 2011[/editline] 2.5Ghz i5 with 4GB DDR3 RAM. So it's not as if it's a POS.

Office 2011. That may explain it. [editline]23rd September 2011[/editline] While the documents you can make with each iteration of office look better and better, the software is getting worse in regards to ease of use and stability.

You know how it goes. It's usually the older shit that lasts longer. Also, woohoo 100th post... :suicide:
That's true for Hardware and Software. [editline]23rd September 2011[/editline] Anyway, I'm going to stop spamming, and actually get on with my college work.
Derp we need to do SQL in computer science class, and the teacher failed me because instead of using querys to enter user data each time, i just made a php script to fill in the query :v:
