Well, here we go.
Now that i have a case with a black interior myself, blank ones look so cheap..
I don't have a window on my case so I don't have to give a fuck.
Yeaaaah
Awesome!
No idea What colors though, the entire color scheme for all the parts is black, red, and gray except for the ram with has blue stickers on the heat spreaders which I plan on removing.

Get a gigabyte board and do random strips of orange, blue, yellow and red.
Matte black.
that's what I'm probably going to do.
My friend keeps telling me to replace the two red 200mm fans with white or orange ones for some reason, sound kind of ugly imo.

Should I make multicolored racing strips?

Try to keep the case interior color black, it makes the cable management much easier.

How does the color of the interior make cable management better? Am I missing something?
So I'll do a public service and show those who want to get Timeline now how to do it.
Go to the search bar on Facebook and type 'Developer'. Click the app and then Allow it.
It will refresh and you will be taken to developers.facebook.com. Click the 'Creat New App' button in the top right corner. Create an app with random names. Doesn't matter and you'll never use this app again. Agree to the Developer agreement.
Click on the Open Graph link in the left hand bar and enter two words. See and Profile.
The page will redirect, scroll to the bottom and click Next or whatever it says, then Finish on the next one.
Go back to Facebook.com and go to your profile and wait for the notification to appear above the status box. Have fun.
DO NOT DELETE THE APP UNLESS YOU WANT THE OLD PROFILE BACK

Apparently the Disqus thing on my wordpress counts as a Facebook app :v:

[15:19] Brett: Wut u mean bro
[15:20] Brett: As far as patches?
[15:20] Bill: no just seeing hows it going over there
[15:20] Bill: no patches = boredom
[15:24] Brett: I'm currently on reddit while I wait for a image to be approved. If ever.
[15:25] Brett: Finished two systems that were urgent so I'm glad they are done
[15:26] Bill: whats reddit?
[15:27] Brett: !!!!!
[15:27] Brett: Giant news/media/picture aggregater
[15:28] Brett: http://www.reddit.com/
[15:28] Brett: Say good bye to productivity.
[15:28] Bill: haha
[15:28] Brett: If you make an account you can change which subsections show up on your front page. useful
[15:34] Bill: this will kill some time
[15:36] Brett: Make an account, use firefox, install the greasmonkey plugin, and then use http://reddit.honestbleeps.com/download Makes the browsing experience so much nicer.
[15:36] Brett: Since I know you will get addicted.
[15:38] Bill: haha
[15:38] Bill: nice
[15:38] Brett: Also a whole lot of news goes through Reddit before it explodes on other sites, so subscribing to the world news and technology subsections can be useful.
[15:39] Bill: cool
[15:39] Bill: ill make an account now
[15:42] Brett: Good night and good luck
[15:42] Brett: Was nice knowing you.
[15:43] Bill: lol
I feel bad.
So I'm getting a terabyte hard drive that I'll be putting into an old Dell desktop with 2gb Ram and a geforce 8300. I think I'm going to start a simple server for maybe hosting a server for file hosting, or maybe a website. I might also host a multiplayer game server. May I ask what operating system would be good for any of those sorts of things? Also, anyone have some good suggestions on what I should do with the server? (Besides porn.)

cable management is for airflow, not appearance.
[editline]23rd September 2011[/editline]
also I might be getting a new 128 GB SSD for free soon, this may very well be amazing.

I'd say it's for both.

CM was originally for airflow, but good management looks nice.
Okay, so I'm getting these wierd entries in my Recent Activity log in gmail:

50.56.101.116 resolves to a Rackspace VPS / Dedi, which I don't own, plus I have two-factor authentication on. The only passwords I have generated for two-factor that are recently used are all sitting right by me in the UK, and they show up in logs if I manually sync them as activity from my home IP. The only exception to this is my Touchpad, which doesn't do a thing to the log. Is this some kind of caching by HP on a rackspace server, or something more sinister that I should be going password-mayhem on?
According to a certain Computer Network book this is what hackers are like.

Yes, I snatched this from Reddit. Too good to be passed.

Yes, I have talked to the guy today at Microsoft during the "Day and Night of the Researchers" (every kind of research institutes and universities open their doors to the public and make seminars and shit for 24h).
I also visited a nuclear reactor with a glass top and a high-voltage laboratory. Also got chosen as a tester for a speech synthesizing app which uses some kind of revolutionary new method of synthesizing speech, for the Android.

Try invalidating the passwords and generating new ones and see if it fixes that

Can't and won't do, for three reasons.
-I have signed an NDA
-It is locked to my phone's IMEI number
-It can only speak hungarian at the moment, but according to the researchers, 2 hours of speech from 3-4 different persons will make the application able to "learn" (make the algorithms) the new language in about a week (if the raw data is processed on a supercomputer).
